As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the Room Air Conditioning (RAC) and Commercial Air Conditioning (Single-splits, Multi-splits, VRF) product portfolio for Southeast Asia & Oceania. · Develop and implement product launch plans for the Air Conditioner line-up in partnership with local country teams

· Provide product-related inputs for marketing collaterals such as manuals, catalogs, websites, white papers, etc.

· Enhance supply forecasting and product life cycle management processes in line with the product strategy

· Support day-to-day operations for product-related issues and proactively work with key stakeholders

The Manager/Senior Manager (equivalent to Technical Superintendent/Senior Superintendent) will actively lead an on-shore and off-shore team to deliver high quality, innovative, sustainable solutions to the customer with complete responsibility for safe and cost-effective management of the vessels assigned.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
Technical Management / Operations

· Accountable for vessel inspection and ensure the ships condition and maintenance standards adhere to organisation procedures

· Ensure all maintenance is performed to a high standard and as per manufacturer’s recommendations

· Prepare specifications and evaluate tenders

· Supervise daily operational activities of all assigned vessels

Regulatory/Legislative Statutory Compliance

· 100% compliance with International Maritime Organisation (IMO), Flag State and Port State rules and regulations

· Maintenance of ship certificate and survey status at all times keeping track of renewals and placement on board vessels.

Financial Management

· Maintain, monitor and report budgets for all vessels under charge. Work closely with Technical staff, purchasing and finance controllers to ensure budget is within the agreed variables/targets *(current target 3% variance)

· Support reporting manager to plan “Operating Budget” for all vessels under charge.

· Responsible for planning and execution of all dry-docking activities within the allotted budget limits

· Responsible for corrective action being implemented to remedy safety hazards or risks and restore a safe working environment on board vessels. Escalate to Manager in the event of the hazards/risks exceeding authority limits provided in the role

· Hold MEO Class 1 Certificate of competency or Certificate of Competency II/2 (for Master/Chief Officer) or Certificate of Competency III/2 (for Chief Engineer/Second Engineer) under STCW Code

· A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience as Chief Engineer/Second Engineer or Master/Chief Officer on Dry/Tanker/Gas in the relevant type of vessel being recruited for e.g. Dry Cargo, Oil, Chemical or Gas, etc. Of this a minimum sailing experience of 6 months as Chief Engineer/Master (12 months is desirable).

· Knowledge in Classifications Society procedures and regulations is desirable.

Job Description

In the NUS IT Enterprise Services team, we provide platforms, services and tools to deliver common technology capabilities used by systems that cut across multiple application towers (e.g. administrative, student and academic, faculty and research, corporate solutions, and HR/Finance), infrastructure and security.

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to oversee delivery, ongoing enhancements and support of products under the Enterprise Services portfolio.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for both in-house developed and COTS software solutions across the portfolio.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across NUS IT to identify common needs and opportunities for shared solutions, gather and prioritize requirements for software features and enhancements.
• Ensure that products align with wider IT strategy and goals.
• Partner with architecture and engineering teams to define and maintain technical standards, reusable components, and architectural principles.
• Drive decision-making around product investments, retirement, and consolidation opportunities across the portfolio.
• Establish success metrics and KPIs for evaluating product performance, adoption and business impact.
• Gather and synthesize feedback, market research, and analytics to inform product decisions.
• Stay updated on similar products in the market to keep our offerings competitive and relevant.
• Work closely with engineering team to create prototypes and proof-of-concepts to increase the chances of successful implementations.
• Define and operationalise support model for products across the portfolio.

Qualifications

Experience

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 10 years within IT industry, inclusive of 3+ years in a technical role, and 7+ years’ experience in project and/or product management.
• Good grasp of modern IT technologies, methodologies, architectures, and best practices.
• Strong business process and analytical skills with the ability to assimilate information quickly and communicate complex requirements and issues clearly and concisely.
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of management, users and vendors.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Must be a good team player, proactive in nature, fast learner, highly organized and positive attitude.
• Certification in PMP or CITPM will be an added advantage.
• Certification in Product Management (e.g. Certified Scrum Product Owner) will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Higher Education industry is a bonus.

Technical Expertise

• Proficiency in Power BI for creating dashboards and reports.
• To effectively work and communicate with both technical and non-technical team members and stakeholders, knowledge of any of the following is an added advantage:

1. Cloud platforms - at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS or GCP) and services offered, differences between cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and performing cost analysis for cloud services.
2. IT Service Management practices, processes and tools.
3. Identity and access management (IAM) systems and concepts – e.g. OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect protocols, SSO, MFA, user provisioning and lifecycle management.
4. Enterprise integration technologies and tools - e.g. Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) platforms, API management platforms and message brokers

• Experience with generative AI technologies is an added advantage:

1. Using and/or integrating AI services via APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, or similar platforms)
2. Knowledge of prompt engineering techniques
3. Conceptual understanding of large language models, retrieval augmented generation (RAG), AI agents, etc

Product

• Plan, develop and implement of product portfolio strategies with SMART goals
• Responsible for the product performance by revenue, GP%
• Manage the entire Product Lifecycle management of the products
• Collaborate with respective business unit and marketing teams to ensure that customer needs/values are incorporated into product design, branding, and marketing approaches as Voice of Customers (VOC).
• Schedule and facilitate new and existing product training sessions.
• Analyse and report the product malfunctions as feedback on quality improvement

Price

• Manage the product pricing thru market competition review and positioning thru analysis of pricing matched with market expectations to determine the ideal target price for products of the business.

Promotion

• Responsible for defining the release process and coordinating all of the activities required to bring the product to market
• Develop marketing strategies to grow quality inspection applications in Automotive, F&C, Semicon, Electronics and Medical industries and increase sensor products market share with channel partners.
• Develop tools and marketing collaterals with Marcom team to support sales activities
• Support Solution Marketing activities with Application Marketing members to develop sales tools incorporating Vision and Sensor products.

Place

• Plan go-to-market strategies in alignment with Country Sales (in APAC region) demand.
• Manage for product availability based on the customer's demand and our company’s needs

Competitor

• Monitor and update competitor activities to Global Product BU and Sales
• Develop strategies and plans or tools to convert competitor market share.

Sales Goal

• Responsible for regional sales budget of vision and sensor products and supporting total regional sales budget

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Engineering or relevant discipline.
• At least 7 years of experience in Product Marketing Management in a regional role (Asia Pacific)
• Comprehensive understanding of Product (Sensor, Vision) & Market Trends
• Prior experience in Industrial Automation industry is a bonus.

We are seeking specialist to fill in the role of a Technical/Engineering Services Manager for waterproofing construction projects in Singapore. The successful applicant's primary responsibility is to provide support for Triflex waterproofing product application to all our customers. He will work closely with building contractors, engineers, site supervisors and facility managers to create solutions for waterproofing challenges and to demonstrate application techniques waterproofing projects. The successful applicant shall be responsible for:

Qualifications Required

3. Extensive experience in handling waterproofing materials, application techniques, industry standards, as well as local regulations and building codes for waterproofing in Singapore.

4. Proven track record in working with project engineers, building contractors and property owners.

5. Able to understand shop drawings and specification documents.

6. Demonstrated ability to build rapport and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.

7. A good command both spoken and written English as the job requires communicating with both local and regional (Asia Pacific) clients and business enablers. Knowledge of local language is an advantage.

8.The job requires extensive travelling (local and overseas), conducting building survey including lifting heavy loads as well as flexibility to work under varying schedule.

9. Possesses class 3 driving license in Singapore.
