Role Description:
The Sales and Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the sales activities and operational efficiency of the company. This multifaceted position involves managing both the sales team and operational aspects of the business to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The Sales and Operations Manager reports directly to senior management and collaborates closely with various departments to drive revenue growth and streamline operations.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. Trainee will be introduced to the company's mission, values, and goals. Familiarize with the products, services, and customer demographics. Trainee to understand the sales process. Do role-playing exercises to practice sales conversations and objections handling. Introduction to upselling and cross-selling techniques.
2. Trainee will have training on scheduling appointments, managing inventory, and handling transactions. Introduction to software systems used for operations.
3. Trainee will be able to learn the importance of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Handling difficult customers and resolving complaints effectively. Role-playing scenarios to practice various customer service situations.
4. Trainee to learn and pick up consultative selling techniques, and build long-term customer relationships. Trainee to understand the target market and competition. Introduction to digital marketing tools and social media strategies. Creating promotional campaigns and measuring their effectiveness.
5. Trainee will learn techniques for tracking inventory levels and ordering supplies. Implementing inventory control measures to minimize waste and shrinkage.
6. Trainee to understand financial statements (profit and loss, balance sheet). Budgeting and forecasting techniques used by the company. Identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyzing business performance.
7. Trainee will learn and utilise effective communication and motivational techniques. Delegation and empowerment strategies. Trainee will be able to build and lead a high-performing team. Conducting performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback. 8. Trainee will be able to identify new business opportunities and partnerships. Networking strategies to expand the customer base. Trainee to develop a growth plan for the business. Implementing strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
