Job Responsibilities

• Formulate strategic plans and initiatives aimed at bolstering business channel expansion.
• Manage sales accounts, catering to various sectors including general trade, convenience stores, wholesalers, modern trade, and food service, with a focus on nurturing strong customer relationships.
• Drive the acquisition of new accounts and the promotion of existing and new products to both current and prospective clients.
• Meet sales objectives by achieving targets, managing channels effectively, and controlling costs.
• Develop and implement sales promotion strategies and budgets to surpass channel sales goals.

1. Job Purpose

Reports to BME Engineers in the commissioning of medical equipment, breakdown services, planned preventive maintenance, decommissioning, and disposal of hospital medical equipment.

2. Duties and Responsibilities

1. Primary Responsibilities and Duties (80%)
   
2. Provide technical support to all hospital personnel in the commissioning, operation, maintenance and de-commissioning of medical equipment.
   
3. Supervise the specialist vendors and appointed contractors on medical equipment maintenance works to ensure quality of works and compliance to required standards.
   
4. Update and collect feedback from users regularly on the maintenance, performance, reliability and quality of medical equipment.
   
5. Check, analyse and investigate faults / complaints / hazards on medical equipment and assist BME engineers in mapping out and implementation of required action plans.
   
6. Ensure quality of works conform to standards and practices that the hospital subscribes to, including other quality initiatives driven by hospital and department.
   
7. Manage stock and spares for front line technical support and assist stock supervisor in documentations.
   
8. Secondary Responsibilities and Duties (20%)
   
9. Assist BME Engineer in coordinating services for medical equipment projects with vendors, contractors and appointed project consultants.
   
10. Perform any other duties as assigned by BME engineers.

3. Job Specification/Requirements

3.1 Qualification: Diploma preferably in Electronics / Biomedical Engineering OR Vocational Training Certificate in Electronics / Electromechanical / Mechatronics Engineering with practical experience of at least 5 years.

3.2 Skills:

3.2.1 Good communication and supervisory skills

3.2.2 Customer service oriented

3.2.3 Positive work attitude and ability to work with all levels of staff

3.2.4 Basic IT skills

Responsibilities:

• Support on Monthly Category-specific analysis to help keep track of business performance, key learnings and recommendations: Monthly Category Performance presentation, Monthly merchandising highlights, Category Natures overview.
• Support the team to deliver the half year major projects: bi-annual pricing review, bi-annual market week review with exclusive brands and key selective brands.
• Support exclusive brand management to help drive sales and maintain exclusive brand market shares: Assist in brand operation matters and drive tactical promotions.
• Work on key skincare and haircare category analysis projects for category managers to further analyse and strategies
• Productivity improvement project - quarterly deep dive analysis into sub-category (i.e. nature). Insights sharing with Country category teams to improve assortment selection.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in business or other related fields
• No experience is required, but prior internship experience in similar roles is preferred
• Quick learner
