RESPONSIBILITIES

The Social Worker is responsible for facilitating change and improving lives for individuals, families, community facing transitional challenges through the provision of casework and counselling.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct casework management, including gathering information, conducting psycho-social assessment, identifying common needs and goals for intervention
• Provide case work and counselling to persons with mental health conditions, dementia and their caregivers
• Plan, organise and implement community outreach activities, programmes and group work
• Perform evaluation and prepare reports for administrative investigation and intervention programmes
• Provide information and referral services to link clients to appropriate social services
• Participate in research

• Possess Degree in Social Work or Degree with a Graduate Diploma in Social Work from an accredited institution
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

• Accredited as Registered Social Worker with Singapore Association of Social Workers would be an advantage
• Prior experience as a social worker would be an advantage

- Teach and train individuals in the art of Muay Thai.

- Lead engaging and effective classes for students of various skill levels and ages.

- Provide technical instruction and individual feedback on techniques.

- Ensure safety and injury prevention during training sessions.

- Evaluate student progress and develop individual training plans.

- Create structured training programs tailored to different skill levels.

- Foster a positive and motivating training environment.

- Maintain equipment and facilities.

- Stay updated on industry trends and continue personal development.

- Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
