The Role

Job Description

The Singapore Population Health Studies (SPHS) is a population-based health research initiative at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore. SPHS aims to investigate the interactions between lifestyle, physiological, genetic and other omics biomarkers and their impact on health and longevity. In addition, SPHS will serve as a platform to monitor risk factors in the population and gain insight into determinants of health-related behaviours. For this purpose, SPHS includes over 50,000 adult Singaporeans and long-term residents from three major ethnic groups (Chinese, Malay, and Indian), for a better understanding of disease aetiology in urban Asian settings, and the development of improved preventive and therapeutic measures for Singapore and other Asian populations.

JOB PURPOSE
This role primarily involves the recruitment and data collection activities of the research projects under the SPHS unit that will contribute towards the building of a population health research biobank for Singapore.

Duties & Responsibilities
1. Take consent from research participants before performing any research procedures
2. Perform basic assessments that include measurements of blood pressure and visual acuity, fundus photography etc. and enter data into the correct electronic form via a tablet. Keep to a turnaround time of 8-10min per participant.
3. Perform spirometry and keep to a turnaround time of 10-15min per participant.
4. Minimise the waiting of participants by directing them to next most available test station.

Job Description:

• Support day-to-day retail operations as a Brand Ambassador
• Achieve Individual sales and Store sales target
• Execute sales strategies and action plans implemented by the Managers
• Perform cashiering duties and various payment transactions in store
• Manage in-store visual merchandising display and floor set changes
• Ensure all monies and sales transactions are accordance to the operation procedures
• Keep abreast of product knowledge, sales & customer service whilst providing excellent WOW service experience to customers
• Maintaining and upholding the company’s image as a prestigious and luxurious brand at all times
• Work with the Manager to best handle customer complaints
• Comply with Brand standards, company SOP and the Code of Business Conduct
• Perform store opening and closing procedures and to ensure the process follows company SOPs
• Ensure proper care of stocks, fixtures and furniture within the store, and kept neatly and tidy at all times
• Any Ad Hoc duties as assigned by the management

Requirements:

• 6-hours daily with 4-day work week; 24 hours per week (weekdays & weekend, retail shift).
• Basic salary $1600 with commission.

You will support the Office for Service Transformation in the execution and implementation of cluster-wide service transformation projects to improve patient care and service. You will lead the team to take design concepts forward and work hand-in-hand with partners and stakeholders to implement service transformation in a variety of healthcare and community settings. You will distil business and user requirements and work with stakeholders to design new initiatives to improve patient care and staff experience.

You will plan and conduct the research and study of users (patients and/or staff) at various touch points throughout the service experience and journey, map workflow processes, identify problems and propose changes and improvements. You will also plan and lead the conduct of ethnography, data mining / gathering activities and statistical analysis to qualify / quantify potential areas of improvement, track the execution of projects, and measure the impact of initiatives.

You will assist and support project leads in the identification of appropriate journals or research publications and in the scoping and drafting of the project plan, including seeking expert opinions and guidance from various SingHealth domains and departments, monitor and report project performance against set targets and propose action plans to improve performance and organisation results where necessary.

You will ensure the success of healthcare service transformation projects, in close consultation with key stakeholders, and support the division and department in strategy formulation, execution of strategic plans and communication of projects to stakeholders.

You will conduct horizon scanning and literature research for new ideas and emerging market trends for innovation and technology, and perform secretariat functions at division, department, senior management and any other assigned meetings.

Job Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 2 to 4 years of relevant working experience

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

· Proficiency with Statistical applications and in Project Management would be an added advantage

· Prior experience in a service design / process redesign / process improvement

· Prior experience in a healthcare setting is an added advantage

Responsibilities:

• Manage full set of accounts, including invoicing, receipt updates, vendor invoice processing, payment arrangements, journal entries, inter-company charges, bank reconciliation, balance sheet schedules, fixed assets registers, and general ledger maintenance
• Manage month-end closing process and ensure all month-end journals, AP, and AR sections are closed promptly
• Perform Internet banking & monthly bank reconciliation
• Preparation of Monthly Financial Statements for Management Reporting
• Preparation of analytical reports to the management team
• Prepare and Review all Balance Sheet Schedule to its control accounts including bank reconciliations
• Prepare Accounts Payable & periodic reconciliation of vendors' statement of accounts
• Assist in year-end audit & preparing audit schedules including liaising with external/internal auditors and tax agents as required
• Handle and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, audits, and tax filings
• Assist with forecasting and budgeting exercises.
• Support the implementation of new processes and systems
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Senior Management

• Minimum LCCI/CAT qualifications or equivalent with at least 3 years experience

Job Description:

• To perform clinical activities and administrative work associated with running of the Hospital Kidney Transplant Programme.
• Assist potential donors and recipients in the entire kidney transplant process, includes providing counselling and conducting transplant workup for potential donors and recipients.
• Attend to and evaluate referrals by renal physicians for live and deceased donor transplants from other hospitals.
• Maintain close connections with stakeholder and MOH officials pertaining to organ donation and transplantation.
• Provide counselling to patients and their families for those patients with no overt contraindications and are considering deceased donor kidney transplants.
• Evaluate and prepare a patient for deceased donor kidney transplant when the patient has been selected.
• Provide discharge teaching to patients and assist in the follow up care.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years working experience preferred
• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Nursing, Life Sciences, Psychology, Social Science or equivalent.
