Overview

You will be working directly with cross-functional, cross-institutional business leads to analyse and improve the credit and collection practices for NUHS Cluster.

Responsibilities

• Conduct an end-to-end analysis on current credit and collection practices in NUHS Business Office Shared Services with the aim to improve collection rate.
• Work with institution’s Operation teams to improve, tighten and comply with upfront credit management practices for non-resident patients.
• Monitor inflight patient’s bill escalation for deposit top-up, collection of past outstanding bills, conference with patient / Next-Of-Kind / Doctor / MSW on patient’s financial affordability for complex cases.
• Follow up on Non-Residents bills post discharge, including liaise with Corporates and Insurance Companies on LOG, work with MOM, ICA or other statutory board for assistance on outstanding bills relating to foreign workers, prisoners and illegal immigrants, including initiate legal actions
• Manage and review outsourced partner (1FSS) work according to SLA – reminder letters, collection agencies, patient enquiries hotline, write-off paper
• Summarise and communicate to management team on key issues, risks and key performance indicators to manage the process of various measures
• Partner with Data Protection Office to develop and improve on existing controls and processes in compliance with PDPA Act
• Participate in projects and system implementation in term of controls and risk assessment on credit management
• Work closely with internal and external auditors

Requirements

• Possess a Degree in Accountancy/ Finance/ Business or the equivalent with at least 5 to 7 years’ experience in credit management, audit or compliance.
• Experience in healthcare industry will be an advantage.

· Identify the needs of prospects and extend professional advice and solutions to them.

Job Responsibility

1. Implement an enhanced Site Safety, Health, and Environmental management system to manage risks and minimize accidents and incidents.
2. Investigate any incidents/accidents and advise on the remedial measures to be taken to prevent any recurrence;
3. Implement Safety, Health, and environment programs and initiatives
4. Prepare legal register and monitor it to ensure compliance with legal requirements including Singapore Standard and Code of Practice about EHS.
5. Organise lifting team, prepare lifting plan and lead PPVC module lifting operation.
6. Organise promotions such as EHS campaigns, training courses, competitions, contests, and other activities to develop and maintain the HSE consciousness of persons employed in the work site in establishing healthy and safe working conditions.
7. Identify training requirements, Prepare and conduct the EHS training for all employees who are identified in RA and SWP.
8. Prepare Daily / weekly/monthly reports according to the client’s format and statutory reports as required.
9. Participate in all EHS inspections of the work site / Factory carried out to assess the efficiency of any measures taken in compliance with the EHS
10. Act as Secretary to the EHS Committee and assist the Chairman in planning and directing the functions of the EHS Committee.
11. Prepare and conduct periodic internal audits and ConSASS audits to ensure the EHS Management system
12. Be responsible for any other duties that may be assigned from time to time as your superior/management deem fit.

Requirements:

1. Possess at least a Diploma in Engineering, Specialist Diploma in WSH, and Earth Control Measure Officer course.
2. Qualification in Behavioural Based Safety.
3. Certificate in Monitoring noise, Confined Space Assessor, Risk Management Implementation Plan, Lifting Supervisor, and Work At Height Assessor.
4. Preferably Ten (10) years of safety personnel experience in various construction projects.
5. 5 years experience and well knowledge in PPVC projects and strong skills in PPVC Moule Lifting operation in construction site and fit-out yard factory
6. A self-driven and meticulous individual who has a strong ability to multi-task
7. Must be able to work in MS Office software
8. Substantial understanding and knowledge of local regulation, Singapore Standards, and Code of Practices especially related to EHS.
9. Ability to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and key contact representing the organization on contracts or projects
10. Willing to work 5.5 days in night shifts at various construction sites
