• Handle customers’ inquiries, liaise and develop relationship and business with Head Office, overseas branches and inter-departments as well as corporate customers
• Act as the main contact and information source in the Corporate Banking team, coordinate internal and external lines of communications with various stakeholders (e.g. Finance, Risk, Operations and Head Office colleagues).
• Support the Corporate Banking team in various group initiatives such as competitor review, market trend analysis and formulating the Corporate Banking pitch book/related marketing materials
• Co-ordination of meetings and papers, agenda formulation, project tracking and updates, action points tracking from key management meetings
• Develop various reports and presentations for management review
• Ensure timely updates of all internal and external communications/presentations
• Engage in ad-hoc projects and tasks assigned
• Perform Know-Your-Customer onboarding in compliance with the MAS regulation for all customers

Job Requirements:

• Minimum a bachelor’s degree in Business or any related discipline
• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience within the Banking industry, Corporate Banking space focusing on Aviation and Shipping Finance
• In depth credit/accounting knowledge and good understanding of financial analysis and KYC/AML

• Gather requirements, recommend, plan and manage Learning and Development programmes for Staff, Silver Generation Ambassadors (SGAs) and Trainers through regular consultation with leaders and user departments/teams
• Explore and source for suitable Learning and Development programmes that meet learning objectives, build talent competencies and capabilities to support business needs
• Develop, review and/or enhance onboarding, Learning and Development programmes, create curriculum, e-learning contents, case studies and learning resources to support blended learning
• Provide learning reports and data dashboard to support review of learning progression of staff, SGAs or Trainer
• Review feedback and incorporate enhancements to ensure effective of learning programmes and continue to meet learning objectives and needs
• Develop course curriculum, activities, and resources for in house programmes
• Prepare and conduct training and facilitate learning through sharing of experience and examples
• Manage and support training operations for respective programmes
• Support training and coaching of the SGD trainers, organise regular sharing and learning activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in any field
• Preferable with 2-3 years of working experience in the related field
• Experience and strengths in developing process documentation, learning and development programmes, communication materials, organisation development and people management
• Relevant knowledge of analyzing training needs and implementing performance gap analysis
• Good training and facilitation skills & experience using Adult Learning Theories.

Purpose of the job

To manage a portfolio of clients together with junior team members to be an effective, efficient and profitable part of Ocorian including coaching and reviewing work of junior team members, taking responsibility to ensure adherence with Ocorian policy and procedures, smooth running of operation of the team under management and provide high quality service to Ocorian’s clients.

• To act as named Company Secretary of client entities
• Providing advisory to clients on corporate secretarial matters and ensuring clients receive prompt responses to requests and queries
• To ensure compliance with the Companies Act, ACRA Act: Anti Money Laundering AML / Combating the Financing of Terrorism CFT, KYC processes and any such relevant regulatory and statutory requirements
• Attending clients’ board/board committee meetings, general meetings etc and recording of such minutes of meetings
• Oversee preparation and coordination of the statutory books and documents including submissions of statutory forms/documents to ACRA, IRAS or such other statutory bodies/government agencies within stipulated deadlines.
• Maintain good client relationship with close client communication, in order to assess customer satisfaction for possible improvements and identify possible cross-sell and up-sell.
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members and ensure seamless service delivery to clients
• Ensure prompt and timely billing and monitoring of team members’ timesheet, WIP, efficiency and recoverability in view of achieving the financial objectives and work efficiency.
• Oversee credit control and prompt collection of debts within the portfolio and work closely with credit control/finance team on long outstanding and doubtful debts
• Work with peers and Associate Director to provide and organise training for junior team members
• Support the Associate Director in managing overall targets and proactively monitor actual performance against target
