KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
● Sell our freight forwarding business to potential clients. Ensure the sales process standards are met
● To have an active, updated target list of customers. Convert them to existing customers.
● Ensure Sales territory is profitable and productive
● Research and recommend prospects for new business opportunities.
● Make clients visit.
● Follow up on new leads and or any business inquiries.
● Build and maintain business relationships with customers and shipping lines.
● Prepare a sales report and profit/loss report for each job and section.
● Ensure business volume and profitability based on target.
REQUIREMENTS
● Has minimum of 3 years experience in similar position with freight forwarding business
● Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marine studies/Administration/ Management/ Supply Chain Management or equivalent
● Good communication, persuasion and negotiation skills
● Proficient in English both spoken & written
● Thrive for success, able to work under pressure and positive toward change and challenge
Able to look for customers who will be willing to ship their goods using our freight forwarding company.
