What the role is

Your role will be to assist the Accountant, mainly in accounts receivables and accounts payables.

Duties include

▪ Processing invoices, staff claims, and other payments.

▪ Monitoring receivables from sales.

▪ Assisting in the preparation of period-end closing and bank reconciliation.

▪ Liaising with bank (through phone calls and written communications) on various matters.

▪ Performing data entry and other clerical tasks such as filing and answering phone calls.

▪ Assisting to oversee the China Office's accounting matters.

▪ Carrying out other ad-hoc tasks.

▪ Covering the Accountant in their absence.

Requirements

▪ Diploma in Accountancy from a reputable polytechnic or at least 1 year experience in accounting work.

▪ Familiarity with ACRA/ Accounting Standards/ Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and basic accounting principles.

▪ Fluent in English and Chinese (to communicate effectively with the China Office).

▪ Effective communicator.

▪ Thrives in fast-paced environment.

▪ Can commit to working some overtime.

• Provide nursing care and patient education through coordination, care management and evaluation for an assigned group of patients and/or patient related activities in a Correctional Healthcare environment

• Provide optimal care to meet desired patient outcomes and experiences

• Participate in doctors’ rounds and review daily action and treatment plans

• Assist doctors during clinical procedures, examination and clinical assessment of patients as appropriate Perform a variety of simple invasive and noninvasive procedures related to care plans, within the scope of duties

• Provide accurate and timely documentation of patients’ progress, nursing care, and treatment received

• Assess patient and develop/implement discharge plan based on patient needs

• Comply with operational and nursing guidelines and safe practices according to organisation’s set standards.

• Demonstrate required core and special competencies in nursing

• Maintain current trends in clinical knowledge and competence continuing nursing education

• Supervise junior nursing personnel in providing quality nursing care

• Assist in the orientation and induction programmes for trainees and new employees

• Participate in quality improvement activities, research and committees as assigned, to improve nursing care.

Job Scope:

• Invoice processing: Responsible for accurately processing incoming invoices from vendors, ensuring they are properly coded, approved and entered into the accounting system in a timely manner. This involves verifying the accuracy of invoice details, matching invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents and resolving discrepancies as needed.
• Assisting with the maintenance of vendor records, includng setting up new vendors, updating vendor information and resolving any issues related to vendor payments. This may involve communicating with vendors regarding payment inquiries, resolving disputes and ensuring compliance with vendor agreements and terms.
• Supporting the timely and accuate processing of payments to vendors and staff; including preparing payment batches, generating cheques or electronic payments, and reconcilling payment records. Assist with managing payment methods, such as ACH transfers, wire transfers, and corporate credit cards.
• Assisting with the reconcillation of corporate credit car expenses, employee reimbursements and other types of payables. This involves reviewing expense reports, verifying supporting documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Supporting the preparation of financial reports and analysis related to accounts payable activities, such as aging reports, accruals, and cash flow forecasts. Assist in gathering data, performing calculations, and generating reports to help monitor AP performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Assisting in maintaining compliance with internal controls, accounting standards and regulatory requirements related to AP processed. This includes ensuring proper segregation of duties, adhering to approval workflows and assisting with audits or reviews of AP transactions.

Requirement:

• Higher Nitec or Diploma in Accounting / Business related field of study
