Grocery Logistics Singapore (GLS) a wholly owned subsidiary of FairPrice Group Supply Chain, is a well-established logistics player in the Fast Moving Consumers Goods (FMCG) segment, incorporated since January 1993. Other than being the key logistics provider for NTUC FairPrice and its subsidiaries, we had serviced the Dairy Farm Group, Royal Ahold Group (since exited from Singapore Markets) and many small supermarket chains since our establishment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will ensure proper receiving, putaway, replenishment to pick locations and issuance of goods. You will perform proper record-keeping and control of stock movement. You will also assist in the return of damaged goods. In addition, you will also need to perform good housekeeping; ensure safe practices and orderliness of the warehouse; as well as carry out periodic cycle counts and annual stocktake.

• Minimum Secondary/ NTC level
• Ability to speak and write simple English
• Ability to work in a cold room environment
• Class 3/ forklift license is preferred
• Warehouse experience is preferred
• Service-oriented and a team player

• Working hours:8am to 5.45pm/5-day work week/ shift work and must be prepared to work on weekends and public holidays
• Work location:680 Upper Thomson Road (will move to Sunview Road at the last Quarter of 2024)

Job Description:

• Investigate all reported problems/errors & initiate amendments & testing so that the system can operate correctly & efficiently.
• Propose effective work-around or alternative solution, oversee the selection of solutions and estimate resources/cost required to implement the proposed solution to meet customer’s requirements.
• Manage changes to configurable items. It covers configuration management planning, configuration identification, configuration controls & audits.
• Conduct review & integration testing to ensure the quality of deliverables before handing over to users for UAT.
• Develop technical design specification & translate design into specifications.
• Develop test package, execute test, and document test results to ensure the quality of the program.
• Prepare & maintain up-to-date system documentation.
• Ensure overall customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
• Preferably at least 1 year of experience with implementation / maintenance, consulting, pre-sales or as end-user using the above product.
• Expertise in SAP HCM modules, including Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management (TM), Payroll (PY) and Benefits (BN).
• Good knowledge with hands-on experience in managing IT incidents and problems.
• Good analytical skills with ability to quickly establish cause of system issue reported.
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to work with others to resolve problems.
• Ability to communicate information well to co-workers and management verbally and in writing.
• Able to work independently as well as an excellent team player.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Most of all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about creating high quality experiences for both our Learn-To-Swim Program and Competitive Program swimmers.

Key Roles & Responsibilities include:

(1) Customer Services for TLSC Members

- Handling of direct enquiries on all aspects of the Swim Program and this comprises but not limited to scheduling of new classes, replacement classes, leave of absence and fees payment.

(2) Administrative Duties:

-Maintenance of database for Club members

-Collection of Term Fees for Swim Programs

REQUIRED LANGUAGE ABILITIES: Able to speak and write fluently in both English and Chinese languages.

(1) Finance & Accounts Function

-Handling end to end process of invoicing and payments with vendors/clients

-Managing financial aspects of contractual agreements with vendors/clients

-Bookeeping for company's monthly/quarterly/yearly accounts and preparing of full set accounts and financial statements (including consolidation)

-Preparing Financial Year End closing documents for our Company Accountant

(2) HR Function

-Compilation of Monthly Work Hours for both part-time and full-time coaches/staff

-Compilation of Leave Applications and Medical Leave Submissions

-Compilation/Processing of Monthly Payroll Report

TLSC is also expanding our footprints locally to more locations and establishing new programs with our international partners. We will also provide opportunities to work take on specific projects and events outside of the above key roles & responsibilities.
