Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Executive/HR Manager with a genuine interest in improving the landscape for education. You will work closely with the Founders to oversee and execute the full spectrum of HR functions, ensuring the alignment of HR strategies with organisational objectives.
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
HR Operations
- Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., CPF, tax submissions).
- Maintain accurate HRMS records and prepare regular HR reports for management.
- Oversee leave management, claims processing, and work pass applications for foreign employees.
- Streamline HR workflows and implement process improvements for efficiency.
HR Policies and Compliance
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in line with local regulations.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and labour standards
Performance Management
- Drive the performance management process, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organisational goals.
- Work with Business Unit heads to develop Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and monitor employee progress.
Employee Engagement, Learning and Development (L&D)
- Identify trainng needs and curate learning programmes for different roles and levels.
- Promote a positive workplace culture through engagement programmes and initiatives.
Strategic HR Initiatives
- Partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning, succession planning, and organisational development.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in an HR-related qualification is advantageous but not a prerequisite
- At least 5 years' experience dealing in full spectrum HR
- Payroll experience is a must
- Strong understanding of local employment regulations and HR best practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in HRMS tools and comfortable learning new tech platforms
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Immediate availability is preferred
