Position: Lab Associate Researcher
Key Responsibilities:
· Lab Experimental Techniques
Perform various experimental techniques, including chromatography, PCR, HPLC, SDS-Page and cell culture. Assist in the purification of recombinant proteins and antibodies and follow appropriate procedures and SOPs.
· Data Recording and Analysis
Accurately document and analyze experimental data. Maintain detailed records of all activities in specified formats, both paper and electronic.
· Project Participation
Contribute to field R&D projects as part of a project team. Properly hand over experiments and tasks, and summarize daily activities and outcomes.
· SOP Formulation and Updates
Assist in the formulation, updating, and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Summarize and share work experiences to improve laboratory practices.
· Equipment Management
Manage and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment. Perform necessary maintenance and assist in the procurement of laboratory supplies.
· Lab Safety and Cleanliness
Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment. Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or related fields of study
- Prior hands-on experience in a laboratory setting
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong team-player
- Comfortable with performing 8-hour shifts (5 work days, 2 rest days which may not be weekends)
