Patient Service Associate is to manage and provide frontline patient services such as patient admission, in-flight / discharge billing consultation, modes of payment consultation, general enquiries handling, birth registration and cashiering.

- Works with Bed Management Unit (BMU) to monitor the availability of beds for elective inpatients prior to admission.

- Conducts financial counseling for admitting patients to explain on the charges are derived and how the bills would be financed.

- Assists the patients to complete the various modes of payment forms.

- In-flight / Discharge Administration

- Assists patients / next-of-kin to understand the bills and settle the outstanding payment.

- Assists needy patients by referring them to Business Office / Medical Social Workers Department for financial assistance schemes.

- Works with PSC’s Bill Monitoring Team (BMT) to manage patients’ outstanding bills.

- Handling of General Enquiries

- Assists patients / next-of-kin / general public on general / non-clinical / non-medical issues over the counters / telephone.

- Administration Work

- Performs IP Tagging function.

- Performs posting of charges for in-flight patients.

- Performs settlement for NETS / Credit Card transactions daily.

- Performs proper handover to Finance Department daily.

- Assists informants to register the newborn’s birth application.

- Collects the payment for the birth registration services.

- Administrates the Baby Bonus Forms and collates the relevant statistics as required by ICA.

The Global Centre for Asian Women’s Health (GloW) aims to build a global research platform for transdisciplinary endeavours to address major health concerns over a woman's lifespan and across generations. Through its main hub in Singapore, the Centre will engage in multi-disciplinary research to promote women’s health, including a series of diet and lifestyle intervention studies.

Purpose of the role

The project coordinator/manager will play a key role in dietary intervention studies by actively managing and coordinating diet and lifestyle intervention studies in GloW. Responsibilities include development, implementation and monitoring of meal plans, educating participants as needed, collecting dietary data, and performing administrative duties to ensure the studies’ success and compliance. The staff will work closely with Principal Investigators of intervention studies, collaborate closely with the research team, food service team, and other relevant stakeholders, as well as undertake other ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by the Centre’s Director as needed.

Fabrica AI is reinventing how robots are developed. Currently novel robots take 5-20 years. We are building a design automation platform to bring it down to a month, and have already demonstrated significant progress by developing tile grouting robots in record time. Robotics simulation and reinforcement learning has been advancing a lot making it 1000x cheaper to train robots compared to 5 years ago, and as Jensen Huang said at Nvidia GTC 2024, "the ChatGPT moment for robotics may be just around the corner." A couple other companies are building on the same paradigm shift but we are the only ones using it to automate hardware design, not just software.

Building robots and a design automation platform together brings great synergy - the platform helps us develop robots faster than anyone else and the robots allow us to gather data and do experiments at scale. Data gathering can be done through partnerships with other robotics companies, but doing experiments is crucial for grounding the platform in reality and ensuring its usefulness. The grouting robots are already deploying daily at construction sites and bringing value to clients. We are currently negotiating sales worth around 500k USD. Position Overview: The Academy for Healthy Longevity at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, seeks a dynamic and versatile Research Associate to serve as the Executive Support and Operations Lead. This pivotal role will provide high-level support to the Principal Investigator (PI) and executive staff, while gaining broad exposure to various aspects of geroscience and geromedicine research. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advancing the Academy's mission to position Singapore as a global leader in healthy aging research.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

## Executive Support

- Serve as the primary liaison between the PI, executive staff, and internal/external stakeholders

- Manage the PI's schedule, including coordinating meetings, travel arrangements, and prioritizing commitments

- Prepare and edit high-level correspondence, reports, and presentations for the PI and executive team

- Assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives aligned with the Academy's goals

## Research Coordination

- Collaborate with research teams to track project progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables

- Assist in the preparation of grant proposals, ethics applications, and regulatory documentation

- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to facilitate research collaborations

- Support the dissemination of research findings through publications and conference presentations

Main Duties and Responsibilities

## Operational Management

- Support day-to-day operations of the Academy, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness

- Support the management of budgets and financial planning for research projects and operational activities

- Coordinate facility and equipment management to support research activities

## Team Leadership and Development

- Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff and students

- Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities for team members

- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that promotes excellence in research

## Stakeholder Engagement

- Represent the Academy at conferences, workshops, and public forums

- Assist in organizing and executing outreach events and initiatives to promote the Academy's work

- Build and maintain relationships with academic partners, industry collaborators, and government agencies

Qualifications

- Master's degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, Public Health, or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a research or healthcare setting, with demonstrated project management skills

- Strong understanding of clinical research protocols, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards

- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders

The Regulatory Affairs Associate is a member of ASPAC Special Project. He or she is responsible for actively contributing to the regulatory compliance of medical devices. He or she is also responsible for data integrity and maintenance across multiple regulatory systems.

This position reports to the Special Project RA lead (SEA cluster).

Responsibilities

1. The Regulatory Affairs Associate main responsibility is to support the ASPAC markets on MedTech regulatory affairs matters.
2. Creation and maintenance of regulatory information in Regulatory Database system.
3. Creation of routine reports to ASPAC markets related to regulatory compliance matters (submission schedules, eligibility and etc.).
4. Creation of routine monthly Performance metrics report to ASPAC markets using basic IT skills
5. Extended roles in providing administrative support to local Singapore Regulatory Affairs MedTech department, including RA database update, data analysis and local database maintenance.

Requirements

• A minimum Bachelor’s degree in any Business or Science Field
• Good at Power BI, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point
• Has a strong sense of responsibility on meeting due/target and quality/integrity/accuracy of the output
• The incumbent must have the ability to work effectively without supervision and process requests/work within required timeframes.
