• Lead all employee relations with professional grace, lead investigations to resolve issues/conflict in the workplace, act as an impartial mediator in disciplinary procedures and ensure it is administered in fair manner and meets all legal and labor regulations, advice managers in determining appropriate disciplinary plans of action.
• Lead the development and implementation of employee communication programs and ensures the employees are aware of the agency’s policies, programs, and management goals.
• Develop and lead learning & development programs such as designing and implementing tailored training programs for core PR skillsets within the company.

Job Purpose:

The HR Manager will lead and manage the human resources function, overseeing operations across multiple business units and ensuring alignment with overall strategic objectives. • Act as the primary contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and staff.

6. HR Metrics and Reporting:

• Track and analyze HR metrics, preparing reports for senior management to assess the impact of HR initiatives.

• Use data-driven insights to recommend HR improvements and drive organizational performance.

7. Strategic HR Planning:

• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the group’s growth and long-term objectives.

• Partner with senior management to forecast HR needs based on business plans and ensure consistent HR practices across all units.

8. Collaboration with Indonesia HR Team:

• Coordinate with the Indonesia HR team to streamline processes and leverage regional expertise.

• Ensure consistent application of group-wide HR policies while respecting local practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or HR certification is a plus.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a HR role overseeing multiple business units.

The role

This role is a broad, hands on HR role with a small, highly professionalised stakeholder group. The candidate will have the opportunity to provide the full range of HR services from advisory support through to payroll delivery. The monthly salary range is SGD 8k - SGD 11k plus participation in the annual discretionary bonus plan.

Key stakeholders include the Global Head of HR for Consulting, the MDD Europe and Asia COO and the MDD Asia Pacific leadership team. This is a new role which will cover all MDD's Asia Pacific markets; Singapore, Hong Kong, UAE, Thailand, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Owning the stakeholder relationships within MDD Asia Pacific
• Manage HR operations including HR system accuracy, payroll and benefits enrolment and reporting.
• Manage Employee Relations activity ensuring policy and legal compliance and managed to time scale
• Work with local legal advisors and payroll providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of HR services
• Coaching leaders/managers/colleagues to enable them to be the best versions of themselves and to to successfully develop talent and manage performance
• Manage recruitment and onboarding activity
• Taking lead on any other ad-hoc HR related activity within MDD Asia Pacific
• Ensure MDD are compliant in all training/mandatory training
• Advising leaders/managers to ensure appropriate application of policy and process and above all, to achieve best business outcome

Key skills and experience required

• Must be able to work on a stand-alone basis, the Global Head of HR, Consulting is providing oversight only; not managing HR activity on a daily basis.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation in the Asia Pacific region.
• Good knowledge of both the legal requirements and practical approaches and the ability to combine these in a thoughtful, human centric manner.
• Comfortable to work at both a strategic and tactical level providing both advisory support and ensuring operational activities are carried out on a timely and accurate basis.

Job Description:

• Assist in the recruitment process, from job posting and candidate sourcing to conducting interviews and coordinating with hiring managers.
