• Spearhead market research projects, leveraging a variety of data sources—both internal and external—to gather comprehensive market intelligence.
• Identify and monitor key market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs within the ASEAN and ANZ regions.
• Clean and analyze collected data, transforming it into actionable insights that inform business strategies.
• Perform macro-level and industry-specific analysis to assess market potential, growth opportunities, and potential risks in sectors such as energy, manufacturing, and technology.
• Develop detailed reports and presentations on market trends, competitive landscapes, and strategic opportunities for senior management and stakeholders in Japan.

Skills and experience required

• Excellent communication and presentation skills including in Business level Japanese or JLPT 1/ JLPT 2 level , with the ability to influence decision-making at senior management levels who are based in their Global HQ in Japan
