The Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) is embarking on a review of its HR and Payroll system and operations, to develop stronger internal capabilities with the aim of transiting to a new HR set-up by 2025. The candidate is expected to work with internal and external stakeholders to see through the HR transition.

In the longer-term, this position will ensure the smooth and continued running of LLI’s HR and payroll operations, as well as continually viewing the HR structure and operational processes to ensure optimisation, as well as spot possibilities for improvements and upgrades.

Position Summary:

The Marketing Communication Specialist is a highly strategic role, helping to develop and execute our go-to-market plans for key segments, as well as support offer development and product launch in South East Asia. The focus of this role is to help improve our ability to win by assessing market opportunities and creating unique value propositions, marketing campaigns, thought leadership content and sales enablement tools that give our sales organization a competitive edge.

The Marketing Communication Specialist will serve as a project management leader with cross-functional teams to assess business development needs, ideate new marketing campaign and tactics, and continually test and refine performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop & execute the marketing plan and measure results of the marketing program
• Manage all promotional activities including internal communications, lead generation, branding, relationships with partners, & reporting activities
• Manage CRM and other web analytical tools for reporting
• Maintenance of sales enablement portals
• Effectively work within the Marketing Communications operating system
• Monitor, review and report on all marketing activities and results

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven performance developing value propositions and promotional messaging for new offers
• Demonstrated experience working with and influencing a wide range of corporate stakeholders, including all levels of a sales organization
• Proven project management experience
• Ability to travel as the business requires (approximately 25% of the time)
• Ability to use market research effectively to understand customer, markets, channels
• Able to anticipate changes in the market and adjusts strategies accordingly
• Experience with internal training and change management a plus

The Role

As Lead Data Steward/Data Governance Manager, you will manage and safeguard data assets within the data governance framework. You will collaborate with data stewards across various domains to design and enforce data quality rules and support the operationalization of data governance processes.

• Implement data stewardship principles that align with the data governance framework and policies.
• Work with various business units/Data Stewards to create and enforce data classification, validation processes and data quality rules/solutions and assist in addressing issues across various domains, including risk, finance, AML/KYC, and customer data.
• Document and maintain data governance processes and reporting mechanisms.
• Support data lineage activities to ensure data traceability and integrity.
• Assist the designing, implementing and adopting of data governance tools such as Collibra.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including BCBS 239, in all data governance activities.
• Promote best practices in data governance and encourage a data quality and stewardship.
• Provide training and support to Data Stewards and stakeholders on data governance practices.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 4-6 years’ experience in data-related disciplines (e.g., Data Governance, Data Management, Regulatory Reporting, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, ETL, or Data Architecture)
• Professional certification in data governance (e.g., CDMP, Collibra, DGSP, CIMP), risk management (e.g., GARP, PRIMIA) are a plus.
• Proven experience in data stewardship and governance within the banking sector
• Ability to design and implement data quality rules and resolve data issues across various domains, including solid knowledge and practical implementation experience in regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for a bank, including regulatory reporting, BCBS 239.
• Hands-on experience with data governance tools, particularly Collibra, and knowledge of other DG tools (e.g., Alation, Informatica, etc.) and automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, etc.).
• Excellent documentation and process management skills, collaborative mindset, and strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Having experience in banks or consulting firms advising banking clients on implementing data governance frameworks and tools, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and business objectives, and involving practical work is valuable.
