Responsibilities

• In this role you will lead the Wärtsilä Energy’s Middle East and Asia (MEA) marketing and communications activities and act as leader for the area marketing & communications team.

Requirements:

As a Business Associate Manager, the candidate will:

• Manage of the CIB APAC administrative function, connect the APAC team into International and Global admin organization.
• Conduct ongoing career development conversations, provide guidance and feedback for the team.
• Coordinate learning and development opportunities and ensure best practices are consistent for the team and across regions.
• Provide international oversight over remote administrative support team in Manilla.

Responsibilities:

As an Administrative Manager:

• Direct line management, oversight and ensure consistency of support levels for the APAC administrative function.
• Bring global connectivity to the CIB APAC administration team.
• Work with business managers/ leaders to ensure effective administrative resourcing, including back-up coverage as required.
• Setup and provide oversight to a remote administrative team in Manilla, to support BAU processes such as travel booking, invoice and expense management, access request and new hire onboarding.
• Use initiative to rapidly resolve general issues and queries in an efficient manner.
• Support career development of the administration team, setting performance goals, identifying training requirements and managing promotions within the team.
• Act as the escalation point for expense policy, invoicing, travel and building management.
• Act as a subject matter expert for internal administrative policies.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of relevant working experience, of which at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 1+ years leadership experience

Skills and desired requirements:

• Background in managing teams of administrative professionals within large financial institutions.
• Project management skillsets; desired skills in setup of a remote administrative function.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team (regional and international).

Job Description & Requirements

Modern Trade Business Development Manager

1. Prepare the Modern Trade sales strategy & growth plans

a. Key responsibility is to drive profitability and revenue

b. Strategic planning of product mix and ordering

c. Close monitoring of inventory with logistics and operations for receiving and good stock clearance/rotation

d. Constant monitoring of P&L for each product SKU

e. Negotiate and drive opening of new stores

f. Category management and Promotion planning.

g. Driving operational efficiency for modern trade channel with operations

h. Monitoring performance and taking corrective actions

i. Resolve customer's trade issues, complaints and operational matters.

j. Manage and review outlets through frequent market visit

2. Marketing planning

a. Align and execute trade marketing and trade promotions interventions with the modern trade sales strategy and overall business strategy.

b. Plan for in-store activations, merchandising, sell-out plans with modern trade buyers.

c. Work within allocated promotional cost and ensure effective spending in driving sales and brand building.

3. Contract negotiation

a. Negotiate favourable annual trading and logistic contract with customers and suppliers

b. Work with legal to finalise contract where necessary.

4. Reporting

a. Manage Accounts receivables, work with Accounts team for debt collection

b. Dotted line reporting from 2 accounts AR team members.

c. Management reporting: Consolidation, reporting and presentation of business performance to ensure that budget/forecast are achieved

d. Analysis and tracking of projects using software tools to ensure on track in schedule, provide lens for sales to drive performing categories and correct non-performance.
