MANAGER – FINANCE & HUMAN RESOURCES Job Description (FULL TIME)
Background:
The Company is a newly formed dynamic retailer in Singapore under a well-established Korean brand. From its three outlets in Singapore currently, its goal is to open multiple locations throughout the island. The job requires day-to-day and direct communications with the senior management. The job will require a wide variety of tasks on a project basis with other areas of the company’s businesses.
Objective:
We are looking for one enthusiastic personality who can handle a wide variety tasks of the following two areas with a minumum of 5-8 years of experiences:
(a)Finance Management Role – For this role, you will report to the CEO. You will be responsible for some routine as well as non-routine roles. Routine roles, for example, will require book keeping, accounts/bank reconciliation, payment management, supplier invoices/DO/PO reconciliation, managing outsourced accounting firms, and other finance/accounting related tasks.
(b)Human Resources Admin Role – For this role, you will report to the Executive Director of Business Development. You will be responsible for performing HR-related admin duties on a professional level in the following HR functional areas: including payroll management, CPF reporting, staff onboarding/offboarding admin, and other recruitment process management, for example.
We envision that the time spent will be split slightly more on the Finance role over the HR Admin role.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, who is just as comfortable working autonomously as with a team. This candidate should be corporate culture-focused, bringing enthusiasm to the office and offering up new ideas and programs. Excellent communications skill is a must, especially in English. Any prior experience in F&B / retail industry is welcomed.
