Centre for Lifelong Learning and Individualised Cognition CLIC is a research collaboration between the University of Cambridge and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and hosted by the Cambridge Centre for Advanced Research and Education in Singapore (CARES) that aims to develop neuroscience-based interventions for lifelong flexible learning. The CLIC program is seeking one full-time Research Assistant (with potential opportunities for reappointment). The research assistant will support research activities focusing on cognitive flexibility and learning, and training-related brain changes among adults and adolescents. Given the highly inter-disciplinary nature of the project, the research assistant will be expected to take on opportunities for involvement in research activities related to human neuroimaging, language, infant cognition/learning and pedagogy.

Key Responsibilities:

Job Description:As an Assistant QA/QC Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our products throughout the production assembly phase. You will assist the QA/QC Manager with progressive quality checks, final inspections, and work closely with our customers' quality teams for factory acceptance tests and handover processes. Your responsibilities will also include fronting customer audits and implementing robust quality management systems within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the QA/QC Manager in conducting progressive quality checks during the production assembly phase.
• Perform final quality checks before product delivery.
• Collaborate with customer quality teams for factory acceptance tests and handover tests.
• Front customer audits and address any quality-related concerns.
• Implement and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective actions for quality issues.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and records.
• Provide training and support to production staff on quality standards and best practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements to continuously improve quality processes.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using quality inspection tools and software.

Key Duties, Roles & Responsibilities

· To adhere and inculcate safety requirements at all time.

· Maintain close tele-communications with Driver(s) / Attendent(s) via Walkie-Talkie/Phone Call/Whatsapp.

· Ensure all port clearance documents are attached to DN before handover to driver.

· Deploy driver's (Planning) for delivery and monitor driver timing (Delivery to Local engineering companies/ Jurong Island / Shipyards / Lighter terminal / PSA port & Jurong Port)

· Duty controller to hold the phone during night. (after 1730hrs till next morning 0830hrs)

· Standby controller to hold the phone during office hour and duty controller to use walkie-talkie to communicate with driver for smooth delivery.

· Ensure all delivery to PSA port, and NYK customer are using cargo net for safe lifting.

· Liaise and co-ordinate with Customer Service on any issue(s) pertaining to the job.

· To report any Accident/Incident of vehicle to Senior Manager

· Dissemination of company information's /Notice to all drivers.

· Other adhoc duty assign by Assistant Manager-Transport

Minimum Qualifications & Experience required

· Class 3/4/5 with or without experience.

· Good English communication skill

· Able to communicate with customers and drivers

· Able to work under pressure
