Prof Derek Hausenloy’s laboratory aims to discover new treatments for protecting the heart from acute ischaemia/reperfusion injury and for preventing heart failure. This is a full-time on-site role for an Admin Assistant at Cogent Eastern Precision Pte Ltd. The Admin Assistant will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to the container depot operations, including accepting and processing container transactions, coordinating with customers and truck drivers, and ensuring accurate documentation.

1. Process documentation for container movement in the depot.

2. Attend to hauliers and process in-bound and out-bound container details in the system.

3. Collate daily storage, repair, and movement reports as well as any other ad-hoc requests required by the shipping/leasing line

4. Collect payment from hauliers and tally with reports.

1. Minimum GCE 'N' level

In this role you will be managing all administrative activities as well as providing property management support to the Condominium Manager.

You will also be responsible for the development of strong client relationships as well as providing high standards of property management service at all times.

Administrative Functions

■ Manage and overall supervision of the areas of responsibilities

■ Answering and attending to calls, faxes, emails, bookings etc

■ Solicit and analyse quotations from contractors for repairs, renovations and maintenance works

■ Prepare notices, documents, reports and/or meeting minutes for Council Meetings, Annual General

meetings and other types of meetings involved

■ Prepare circulars, notices, reminders and/or letter of awareness for residents or for notice display

■ Maintain proper documentations and inventories such as drawings, floor plans, equipment

manuals, keys, reports etc. and control the movement of such assets and documents

■ Collection of payment/fees/deposits

■ Managing, tracking, accounting and controlling of petty cash

■ Prepare and submit reports and/or claims timely and accurately

■ Manage all correspondences, reports, service orders, filing, ordering of stationery etc.

■ Manage and liaise with residents on facilities booking of the estate

■ Banking of cheques and cash

■ Any other administrative duties assigned

Relationship Management

■ Develop, manage and maintain strong and healthy relationships with clients, contractors,

regulators, employees and organisation

■ Inform and educate residents of the need to comply with house rules and by-laws to ensure

harmonious condominium living

■ Minimum 1-year experience as an Administrative Assistant, Accounts Assistant or in other related

position

Our clinic is looking to hire a full-time clinic assistant. You will be required to work Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 5 pm and 8.30 am to 12.30 pm on Saturday

Job scopes

1. Answering phone calls, making appointments for patients, sending patient reminders, registering patients

2. Dispensing of prescribed medication and performing stock-taking and counting of medical stock

3. Assisting in basic cardiac procedures (ECG, hooking up Holter, and 24 ambulatory BP monitoring and stress ECG)

4. Assisting in administrative paperwork (Medisave, preauthorisation, corporate insurance claims)

5. Maintain tidiness and upkeep of the clinic.

Requirement

1. At least 2 years working in a general practice or specialist outpatient clinic

2. Experience in using electronic clinic software e.g. Plato, Clinic Assist would be preferable

Job Description

The Duke-NUS Cancer and Stem Cell Biology (CSCB) Programme studies the causes and treatments of cancer and related diseases. The CSCB research groups have diverse programmes in both basic cancer biology and clinical-translational studies, with a special emphasis on cancers that affect the Asian community in general.

The selected candidate will play a key role in a natural products-based drug discovery program, conducting analytical chemistry, bioassays, compound management, molecular and cell biology, and biochemistry laboratory experiments under the supervision of the Principal Investigator or his/her designate, including but not limited to the following:

• Support all aspects of the research project.
• Conduct extractions and fractionation of natural products.
• Execute cancer and other mammalian cell culture assays.
• Carry out antibacterial and antifungal assays and assist with microscopy imaging of cells.
• Perform molecular and phenotypic analyses to understand mechanism of action.
• Conduct accurate monitoring, documenting and reporting of experimental results and/or research findings.
• Assist with general upkeep of laboratory needs, procurement of reagents, maintain safety protocols, provide technical support and establish work procedures to ongoing research projects.
• Perform other related duties incidental to the work described therein.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Pharmacology, or other related fields. Candidates with higher credentials may be considered for the Research Assistant (Senior) position.
• Familiar with organic and analytical chemistry techniques, including chromatography and HPLC.
• Demonstrated knowledge and possesses experience in cell and molecular biology techniques such as cell culture, western blot, RNA and DNA isolation, and RT-qPCR.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with excellent written, and computer skills.
• Well-organised and excellent record keeping skills are a must.
• A strong team player who is open-minded, energetic, highly motivated and can work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team and diverse workforce.
