Our senior executive in Human Resources will provide day-to-day operational HR services to line managers for our Singapore manufacturing plant, on top of establishing and executing the learning and development processes and system. He/she will also partake in HRMS transition and data integrity.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training programs to equip line managers with the skills and knowledge to effectively manage performance matters.
- Provide ongoing coaching and upskilling of the line managers on performance management best practices.
- Collaborate with line managers to identify and document the essential competencies and key skills required for each job level, ensuring compliance with ISO9001 standards.
- Partner with line managers to develop and implement On-the-Job Training (OJT) checklists that align with identified competencies.
- Work closely with line managers to assess business manpower needs and develop strategies to fulfill those needs in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll.
- Contribute actively to the team's efforts in transitioning to a new HR Management System (HRMS).
- Timely and accurate administration of leave and payroll.
- Meet manpower needs in a timely, cost-effective and efficient manner.
- Institute a robust employee competency, training and development structure
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in Business Admin, preferably major in HRM
- At least 3 years of human resources experience in a unionised manufacturing environment
- Excellent working knowledge of labour legislation e.g. CPF, Employment Act etc.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Supervisory, organisational and coordination skills with other qualities like perseverance, independence, initiative etc.
