Position: Technician, Building Facilities
Salary: $2,600 - $2,800
Location: Central
Working Hours / Days: Shift Work
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance/servicing duties to ensure the proper functioning of building facilities, machinery, and equipment.
- Maintain proper maintenance documentation and tracking of machinery/equipment spare parts.
- Attend to defects and breakdowns as well as tenants’ requests on maintenance matters.
- Reporting on equipment malfunction regarding repair or replacement work, breakdown root cause and concerns to management.
- Basic knowledge and management of Building Management Systems (BMS), Checking and managing chiller and Cooling Tower.
- Attend to changing of locksets and keys duplication.
- Estimate the length of time required to complete a job and the likely consequences of failure to complete work within the required timeline.
- Identify and escalate any activity that has the potential to cause harm or damage.
- Identify spare requirements and log usage.
- Assist in the development of planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules.
- Carry out PPM Schedules as necessary, the plan works order as required, and provide feedback to develop the system.
- Assist with the moving, installation, and repositing of machines and equipment.
- Ensure a safe working environment exists for self and colleagues, ensuring all health, safety environment and quality management procedures are followed and achieved the company and department KPI targets.
Requirements:
- NITEC in building services / M&E with relevant working experience in retail / commercial / hospitality properties.
- Able to communicate effectively with people at various levels.
- Willing to commit to shift work (including Sat, Sun and Public Holidays)
