ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a HR Business Partner / VP who will play an important role working with Xora’s team and portfolio companies. RESPONSIBILITIES

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- 10+ years of human resource management experience as an HR generalist/business partner managing end-to-end HR functions, with at least 5 years in a senior HR Business Partnership role

- Experience in developing and augmenting HR policies, processes, systems, and business partnering in a high-performance environment • Strong problem-solving approach that supports and enables efficient and effective decision-making amongst multiple stakeholders

Responsibilities: 

• In charge of talent attraction and retention, performance management, compensation, talent development and employee engagement.
• Partner with shared services team to deliver a full spectrum of HR business partner services to all levels of staff in compliance with HR policies, audit requirements and legal obligations (e.g., Employment Act, CPF & IRAS regulations etc.)
• Provide advice and guidance to line management on HR operations matters such as leave, compensation & benefits, performance management related matters etc.,
• Participate in department meetings where applicable and provide inputs in the operational plans/ initiatives
• Work effectively to align and achieve synergies in carrying out processes such as performance appraisal exercise, mass salary review and bonus exercises, recognition awards nominations, developmental award nominations and support in the budget exercise.
• Provide support in the recruitment function such as the posting & sourcing of candidate, interviews and offer management.
• Provide support in the onboarding of new hires.

• Bachelor or Degree in Business or HR Management 
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience as a HR Generalist/ Business Partner.
• Good working knowledge of the law and regulations in relation to HR and employment

Your responsibilities may span the following areas:

Wellness Programmes & Communications

• Plan & deliver meaningful activities to promote overall employee wellbeing, championing dynamic employee involvement
• Review and improve existing communication channels & mode
• Design & broadcast EDMs/artwork for internal Company/HR announcements
• Own & coordinate Staff Welfare matters, i.e. LSA, Marriage, New Born, Hospitalization & Bereavement
• Run HR-driven company events & projects such as Healthy Week/Month, DEI, CSR efforts etc.

Employee Lifecycle

• Overseeing end-to-end Onboarding, Offboarding and relevant HR documentation for new joiners & leavers, including but not limited to communications, activation of Sterling Backcheck & pre-employment medical check etc.
• Maintain & upkeep eFiles
• Own & update corporate DLs timely
• Generate Employee Letters as needed/requested, i.e. Letter of Employment, Visa Applications, PR Applications etc.

Invoice & Billing Matters

• Vendor & PO creation
• Invoice processing
• Validating & processing 3rd party contractors’ invoices

Other Ad-Hoc:

• Collaborate closely with HRM/HRC on HR Analytics efforts for data collection and analysis; for example: research, gather and translate HR industry data/trends and insights for application to the business
• Own and manage the monthly HR Events Calendar and initiate meetings to brainstorm and plan for upcoming events & projects
• Extend support to wider HR team, when required & directed by HRM/HRC
