- Windows Server Administration
-> Installing, configuring and maintaining Windows Servers
-> Experience Level: E3
-> Min 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Windows Server Administraton
-> Last 2 major versions for all hard and software.
-> Expert knowledge of Windows troubleshooting
-> Expert knowledge of installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Microsoft cluster Services
-> Experience knowledge of Ms Hyper-V
- VMware vSphere Administration
-> Installing, configuring, and maintaining vSphere ESXi
-> Experience Level: E3
-> Min 5 – 7 years of hands-on experience with VMware vSphere administration
-> Expert knowledge
-> vSphere ESXi, Virtual Center and VMware update manager
-> virtual machine technology
-> vSphere troubleshooting (ESXi & VMs)
-> Expert knowledge in troubleshooting on ESX servers using Command line PowerCLI
-> Expert knowledge of storage protocols
- Server Hardware (HPE preferred)
-> Remote management
-> Firmware updates and patches
-> Guiding hardware upgrades / FRU
-> Singapore Data Center support
-> Experience Level: E3
-> 5 years of hands-on experience with server hardware. (HPE preferred)
- NetApp Storage administration
-> Remote management
-> Firmware updates and patches
-> Troubleshooting (WAFL/NFS/iSCSI/SMB/CIFs)
-> Experience Level: E3
-> 5 years hands on experience of NetApp storage administration would be beneficial
-> Expert knowledge
-> PowerShell (ability to read, modify and create scripts)
-> ITIL processes and ticket handling
-> IT security concepts
- Azure Cloud Administration
-> Configure, deploy and manage Azure Cloud assets
-> Min 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Azure Compute Instance, Storage Accounts, Networking and Managed
Databases.
-> Practical knowledge with managing via Azure CLI, Azure Powershell and Portal
-> Basic security contextual knowledge in Azure NSGs, RBAC and API keys.
- Monitoring IT Support Tickets / emails /hotline.
- Daily monitoring and troubleshooting of our distributed server landscape will be part of the task together with the project work.
- Verifying the compliance and integrity of our systems is key to keep a high level of quality.
- Performance optimization and capacity monitoring is as essential as the resolution of end user problems through SAP’s internal ticketing system.
- Change done to our landscape also include updating or creating documentation for level 3 Niche Area service.
- Good network knowledge
-> Good knowledge of TCP/IP (v4) protocol
-> Troubleshooting network connectivity
-> Good understanding of router & switch configurations (VLAN / Trunk/ ACL)
-> Hands on experience with MS SCOM operations.
-> Basic Project Management experience.
-> Vendor support ticket creation and follow-up for Netapp, Microsoft, VMware and HPE.
Requirements
- Server virtualization -> Main business vmware hyperV (Expert 5-7, years of experience) able to provide common answer to questions, (building/deploying/managing) internals.
- Wintel - Windows server technology (proficient) where to find into, stuff, how to install.
- Scripting - PowerShell, tooling (proficient) - create from scratch, deploy.
