Job Summary
As the Business Development Assistant Manager, you’ll be instrumental in expanding the company’s footprint across Singapore and the APAC region. This role is crucial in formulating and executing strategic sales plans to drive growth, build client relationships, and meet revenue objectives.

Job Scope:

• Craft and implement effective sales strategies and proposals for the APAC market.
• Analyze market data to identify growth opportunities across the energy, chemical, life sciences, and infrastructure sectors in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, forging strong client relationships.
• Spearhead operational strategies in line with company objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop compelling proposals.
• Negotiate contracts, managing relationships with various stakeholders.
• Build and maintain partnerships with government agencies and industry partners.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and communications are streamlined.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
• At least 7 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Life Sciences, or infrastructure sectors, with project experience exceeding USD 50 million.
• Strong understanding of EPC project contracts.
• Technical knowledge of energy, chemical, and industrial sectors is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.

• Manage the team to provide quality support services to customers and ensure that issues and enhancements are addressed promptly and effectively.
• Act as coach and mentor to team members, define standards, monitor performance and provide leadership.
• Translate management strategic initiatives into objectives for team members.
• Establish working relationship with assigned customer accounts and understand thoroughly the customer’s issues and needs.
• Communicate requirements to development or support team to ensure timely address of customer needs.
• Monitor customer issues through working with the rest of IT and communicating the resolution plan to customers.
• Solicit customer feedback and communicate any complaints to the IT management so that they can be addressed.
• Manage projects as assigned from time to time.
• To plan and execute continuous improvement for applications reliability, performance and enhancements.

Requirements:

• Excellent working knowledge of Applications and account management skills.
• Business Operation knowledge is required.
• Working knowledge of robotics preferred.
• Power builder Programming, Exceed WMS and/or FAMS
• Able to communicate ideas effectively.
• Good customer relationships.
• Able to work under pressure, and must be results -oriented.
• Analytical and meticulous in his work.
• Able to multi-task.
