ServiceNow, is seeking an experienced Communications professional to support and drive an integrated communications approach across the APAC sub-region of Asia (primary focus Singapore) with close integration to the Global Communications, Asia Sales and Marketing teams. The role will have responsibility across all areas of the modern-day communications mix including the creation and execution of thought leadership content campaigns that are executed through media engagement, customer references and advocacy, analyst/influencer relations and social media (paid and organic) programs.

The role sits within the Global Communications team, reporting into the Senior Director Communications APAC, will work closely with the wider APAC Communications team and have a significant profile within the Asia Sales and Marketing teams. From time to time the Communications Manager will support on wider APAC and Global initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a storyteller, have a strong B2B tech background and experience in either or both agency and in-house communications environments and working knowledge of media, social and customer programs frameworks.

• Assist the HR Manager to oversee HR Department & manage the full spectrum of HR functions

Employee Relations:

• Act as a point of contact for employee queries and concerns, providing guidance and resolving issues as they arise.
• Foster a positive work environment and promote employee engagement and satisfaction.

Performance Management:

• Assist with the development and implementation of performance management processes, including performance reviews and goal-setting.
• Support managers with employee performance issues and provide recommendations for improvement.

HR Policies & Compliance:

Requirements:

Job Description:

• Responsible for recruitment activities such as drafting and placing job advertisements in accordance with MOM regulations, screening job applications and arranging interviews, liaise with recruitment agencies etc
• Follow up with candidates and/or new employees on relevant paperwork such as employment application forms, pre-employment check, employment contract, and other employee related letters or memos
• Prepare orientation package and conduct orientation briefing for new employees and send HR welcome email for new employees etc

Core purpose of the role: This position will play a pivotal role in the operations team for all HR related matters. The individual will be responsible for all aspects of HR from recruitment, onboarding/ off boarding processes, claims, training and development, as well as staff engagement and welfare of the employees.

Job scopes:

Recruitment and On-boarding

• Determine and use the appropriate sourcing channel (including Jobs Bank, LinkedIn, job portals, recruitment agencies and internal applications)
• Coordinate the recruitment process, including but not limited to understanding job specifications, posting advertisements, pre-screening of candidate’s applications according to specifications, submitting qualified applications to the hiring managers and tracking application progress to position close
• Conduct interviews
• Arrange background check of new hires
• Manage end-to-end on-boarding activities including but not limited to accounts creation, IT related email and access, induction packs

HR Operations

• Provide prompt update and accurate maintenance of employee database and personnel files

Employee Relations

• Support to business leaders in all employee relations matters
• Provide HR policies guidance and interpretation to employees
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary issues and counsel staff

Offboarding

• Coordinate exit process: payroll, employee records, exit interviews

Payroll & Benefits Administration

• Manage and execute regular benefits administrations
• Ensure timely and accurate execution of CPF, government-claim submissions (Maternity, Paternity, Childcare and NS claims), income tax (IR8A and IR21) matters
• Maintain accuracy and update movements in company insurance policy

Employee Engagement

• Plan and execute internal employee engagement activities such as dialogues, and corporate staff engagement events.

Learning & Development

• Conduct training needs analysis for business units and employees.
• Source for external vendors, coordinate course registration and training grant applications
• Evaluate and monitor training programs and budgets

Ad Hoc Projects

• Drive and implement process improvements to increase HR efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience:

• University Degree in Human Resources or related degree
• Strong knowledge of HR generalist functions and at least 3 years of relevant experience
