About the Role
Aureus Group is looking for Centre Managers who can lead and mentor a team of Customer Service Executives in the direction of working towards the company goals. Assists in creating and sustaining localized policies for import/export compliance, while ensuring company-wide awareness of regulatory requirements.
Develops business processes that mitigate compliance risks, focusing on continuous improvement for increased efficiency and enhanced customer service.
Tracks and reports key performance indicators (KPIs) and compliance metrics to senior leadership, while managing daily import and export compliance reports for the region.
Establishes the overall budget, operational plans, and priorities for the assigned compliance functions.
Manages regional compliance projects, including defining scope, budget, scheduling, and addressing project risks for both import and export activities.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree and above
Posses Customs broker license is a bonus
Minimum 10 years of experience in trade compliance with 5 years of management experience
Worked in medical devices or related industry

The role primarily involves the following:
Leading and supporting the delivery of market access projects in Indonesia and/or SEA. This will include planning the delivery work, management of the broader delivery team as well as identifying the analysis needed to be done. The Manager is expected to bring sector and market expertise and experience to guide the team in their work and work closely with senior personnel in the team to ensure high quality project delivery
Contributing to the growth and development of the KPMG Asia Pacific Life Sciences practice by actively participating in business development activities like managing bid responses and client engagements
Contribute to the development of the HCLS team via active participation in activities that improve the ongoing operations and team engagement
Support broader practice development activities including the following:
- Supporting growth and development of the HCLS Commercial Excellence practice in Asia Pacific
- Considering innovative client contracting models such as managed services, risk-reward, and asset-based engagements
- Understanding how to take the solution ideas to clients in SEA, to drive business development, manage accounts, and ultimately deliver project engagements
- Supporting identify and develop market and client opportunities to bring innovative solutions to clients and shape market impact
- Support market and client business development to shape ecosystem impact and drive client outcomes
The ideal candidate should have:
At least 7 - 10 years’ experience in Life Sciences market access and commercial excellence in SEA, with demonstrable credentials in one or more of the following areas:
- Consulting experience, with delivery of medium / large size consulting projects
- Industry experience in area of expertise
Relevant Healthcare and Life Sciences professional qualifications
Experience leading and managing teams
Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills
Experience and interest in interfacing with senior industry executives
Flexible, creative and innovative approaches to problem solving with a learning mindset
Comfort operating in a regional environment across Asia Pacific
