• Ensure proper functioning and running of QC laboratories (Chemical, sensory, microbiology, retain sample room) in accordance with ISO9001, 5S, lean principle, ISO14000 and OSHAS 18001 standards and procedures.
• Assist and support in the implementation of continuous improvements in QA/QC functions

Qualification

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Food Science and Technology, Analytical Chemistry or equivalent in years of similar experience.
• Overall work experience of 1 to 3 years in a similar position.
• Basic knowledge & interpretation of gas chromatography, knowledge of densimeter and refractive index equipment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of chemistry.
• Basic Sensory evaluation capability / potential capability preferred.
• SAP knowledge will be an advantage

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global FP&A, the incumbent's job covers:

• Collecting and analysing large datasets
• Analyse large datasets to identify gaps in the datasets
• Work with various functions to identify reasons for gaps in datasets
• Work with various functions to rectify data discrepancies and errors
• Work with various functions to implement solutions to reduce gaps in datasets

Job Tasks include:

• Gather and compile data from various sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness and integrity
• Analyse large datasets to identify gaps in across datasets or gaps between datasets and source data
• Communicate gaps identified in a concise and straightforward manner to stakeholders
• Work with cross functional teams to identify reasons for the gaps
• Work with cross functional teams to find solutions to reduce gaps
• Work with cross functional teams to implement solutions to reduce gaps
• Work with IT and cross functional teams to ensure data accuracy, completeness and integrity
• Conduct regular data validation and quality checks

Job Requirements:

• Relevant academic background in finance / accounting / costing with minimum 2 years’ related experience.
• Fresh graduate with a degree in Business, or related disciplines in a numerate or analytical field and with strong data analytics background will also be considered.
• Excellent communication skills. Needs to be able to work with multicultural teams and communicate with various global team members.
• Good understanding of ERP systems (SAP and SAP Business Warehouse an advantage)
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel)
• Strong analytical skills, meticulous.
• Fluent in business English. Spoken proficiency in Mandarin or other languages will be an advantage
