This research project aims to grasp dynamic changes in hotel capital investments and their influences on tourism-related local businesses before, during, and after the pandemic on two geographic scales -- region (Asia-Pacific) and city (Singapore). What you’ll do:​

• Partner with non-technical stakeholders to understand their analytical needs, help confirm data metrics and build data frame by asking the right questions, document and prioritize requirements
• Design, write and support extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes of user tracking data (e.g. customer lifecycle, segmentation and migration), deliver insightful data findings for business success
• Interpret results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining
• Support gathering of additional data for ad-hoc analysis as needed
• Recommend different ways to constantly improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality

What you’ll need:

• BS/MS or higher degree in mathematics, computer science or other technical/quantitative discipline

The Department of Food Science & Technology at the National University of Singapore (NUS) invites applications for Instructor position.

Roles and responsibilities of the position include:
a) Developing and conducting lab modules for New Product Development and Food Engineering related modules.
b) Conduct some lecture and/or tutorial for the modules.

Qualifications
