Person Specifications

• A good degree in Design and Technology or a closely related discipline and a recognized teaching qualification or certification are expected.
• Previous experience of teaching Design and Technology in the 11-18 age range is required.
• Teachers should be willing and eager to participate in the five key elements of a UWCSEA education: Academics; Activities; Outdoor Education; Personal and Social Education, and Service.
• Academic expectations include enthusiastic participation in Professional Learning.
• Pastoral expectations include the leadership of a Mentor group.
• On average the College expects a yearly contribution of two sessions per week in each season to Activities and/or Service.
• The College expects that teachers will participate enthusiastically in the curricular Outdoor Education experiences which are relevant to their students and will also occasionally volunteer for holiday Outdoor Education trips.

Responsibilities

· Responsible for the implementation, support, administration, upgradation and management of windows Operating systems, MS Office products, etc.

· Responds to incidents utilizing a variety of communication vehicles including: email, bridge calls, conference calls, instant messaging, and one-on-one communications.

· End-To-End responsibility for time critical tasks, by engaging the appropriate partner to perform the activities

· Ensure that work is carried out within agreed service levels and in accordance with department guidelines. Create, maintain, and distribute reports of progress to senior leadership

Technical / Professional Skills

· Knowledge of Windows/Storage/Backup/User Access/Permissions/Networks etc, MS Office products, EzOffice, Using helpdesk portal and administration. Supporting Thinclients / Virtual PCs (VDI) (Windows), Desktop Operating Systems. Knowledge on VPN services, managing EUX inventory.

· Account lockouts, password resets, O365 issues support.

· Build and install PCs, telephone systems, wireless networks and peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones) related to desktop infrastructure, in accordance with defined process and standards.

Non-Technical / Soft Skills

· Must have strong communication skills (Verbal and Written) and the ability to articulate task management, priorities, and issues, participate in customer visits, conference calls, and assisting with defining the scope of services tasks

• Providing IT technical and administrative support for a variety of company software application and company hardware including setup & troubleshooting

Responsibilities:

• IT Systems Integration:
  • Collaborate with IT department to ensure seamless integration of HR systems (e.g., HRIS, payroll, performance management) with the company's overall IT infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to HR systems and provide timely solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that the HR system meets their specific needs

• Data Management and Reporting:
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the HRIS system, including data entry, validation, and reporting

• Process Automation:
