Job Description:

The areas of focus for the Network Technical Recovery Specialist includes management of network stability across multiple complex platforms. Acts as a focal point for incident troubleshooting in medium/high impacting issues. The Lee Kuan Yew Centre for Innovative Cities (LKYCIC), established in 2012, is a research centre at the Singapore University of Technology and Design. LKYCIC aims to stimulate research on cities and urbanisation, and explore the role of technology, design and policy in providing urban solutions.

Within the Programme on Urban Innovation, we are seeking a full-time Research Assistant to contribute to the study of placekeeping, which involves the long-term management and maintenance of place. With a mixed-methods research approach, we will examine who the key stakeholders are in placekeeping, how they collaborate, and what facilitates or hinders their collaboration. The study aims to establish a methodology and framework that will enable the systematic investigation of placekeeping and inform future policies and practices related to placekeeping in Singapore.

About the Position:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Support on-site and remote end-users to resolve IT-related issues (hardware/software/network) on their notebooks/desktops and related peripherals.
2. Provide Remote, On-Site, or Station Technical Support to FedEx Operations Staff & Customers as a Regional IT.
3. Work closely with 3rd Party Organizations in the Diagnostics, Maintenance & Support of all Electronic Technologies, including Network equipment & Software Applications Deployment.
4. Perform technical support, problem resolution & provide input to the isolation & resolution of components like network appliances and various hardware & software problems.
5. Resolve issues that occur outside work hours whenever needed.
6. Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by Manager or Management.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology from recognized institutes.
• Proven work experience as a Senior Desktop Support Engineer, Senior Technical Support Engineer, or similar role for about 4 years or more.
• Hands-on experience and knowledge in troubleshooting and deploying Windows 10.
• Hands-on knowledge and experience in troubleshooting desktop, printer, scanner, RF scanner, label printer, and laptop issues.
• Hands-on experience and knowledge in troubleshooting user and support of MSOffice products.
• Basic support of Office Network, Shared Drive, Wireless, and VPN connectivity.
• Basic Support and Troubleshooting of other desktop software used by the office.
• Basic support on iPhone / iPad / Android phones.

Summary

Working as part of the information security office within the IT department at Pacific Prime CXA, the GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) Manager will be responsible for leading the day-to-day IT compliance, data governance and IT risk management functions. Primary responsibility will include defining, creation, management and maintenance of IT and organizational policies and standards in support of legal and regulatory compliance needs as well as general IT and organizational information security controls and practices.

Responsibilities

• Establishing corporate information security policies, standards, guidelines, baselines and practices that protect the integrity and confidentiality of information and network infrastructure.
• Develop procedures and controls to assure compliance with applicable regulatory and legal requirements as well as good business practices.
• Proactively identify audit and compliance related issues to reduce the risk of security exposures, gaps in the design and operating effectiveness of controls whilst seeking opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Driving IT security programs in line with internal and external standards and ensuring compliance with in-country regulatory requirements.
• Maintaining oversight to enterprise-wide security technologies, actively monitoring & responding to security events.

Requirement

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent; with 5+ years of relevant working experience in IT governance, risk, and compliance management.
• ISACA / CISM / CISSP Certification.

• Familiarity with ISMS and security frameworks, particularly NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Understanding of Information Security principles, IT infrastructure (including operating systems, applications, communications and network protocols), architecture elements of Identity Access Management (IAM), network security, data security/DLP, cryptography, logging and monitoring.
• Experience in security design, threat modelling and risk assessments.
