Key Accountabilities 

In this Strategic Leadership role, you will be responsible for the development of the SAI Technology & Durables Industry business at APAC level operating as Brand Manager, driving profitable revenue growth, representing VOC and creating awareness of all your portfolio internally and externally. You are an individual contributor working closely with the SAI market leaders, regional Practice Area leaders and support local sales team (Specialty Sellers/SS) in your respective Vertical with strong collaboration with multiple areas like PL, Delivery, Sales Enablement, Marketing, etc. 

Core Responsibilities 

Profitable revenue growth 

• Own overall Regional Practice Area revenue and cost OP, driving long term profitable growth. 
• Understand portfolio profitability and improve Practice Area profit profile via product mix. 
• Craft regional client engagement plans alongside SS and ADs for target client activation at HQ, regional and local level.   
• Serve as senior leader on Regional/Local RFI/RFP engagements working across SA&I and NielsenIQ for a unified response and representing the Practice Area and its tools.      
• Involve in proposal development and E2E sales process in partnership with SS, Sales Enablement and Delivery. 
• Regionally adjust and collaborate in the Go to Market plan, partnering with regional commercial leader, sales enablement, product marketing, global SMEs and training teams in the creation of Sales Plays, Sales campaign calendar & content, Commercial Decks, Proposal Decks, Demo Scripts, training plans, pitch perfect certifications, etc..   
• Own regional sales SME communities including all regional leaders and local SMEs to share BDPs, White Space opportunity frameworks, etc. with a regular cadence. Build valuable routines across the team to keep high engagement levels and collaboration across teams. Actively participate in global SME sales communities. Explore alternative use cases that could be served with existing product capabilities to capture new revenue opportunities in existing clients or new verticals. 
• Collaborate with SS and Delivery to create standard SOW documentation.   

Voice of client 

• Partner with Global SME team to give input for product development and prioritizations based on client feedback, RFPs requirements, competition analysis and market trends. Collaborate with Client Advisory Boards and Internal Advisory Board to capture needs and get early feedback on our mid / long term product roadmaps. 
• Collaborate with PL and sales transformation team on rate cards that reflect pricing strategy / positioning vs competition and enable internal profit targets. Evaluate potential partners that can help us drive incremental revenue complementing our offering or covering areas we are not investing in.     

Product positioning and awareness 

• Clearly and convincingly articulate Practice Area offerings and unique value proposition, matching them with relevant client business challenges/KPIs. Adapt Practice Area sales framework to each Region linked to use cases relevant to specific target buyer personas.   
• Regionally adjust buyer personas profile and objection handling playbook. Generate buyer personas database at Regional level to activate with GTM plan.    
• Facilitate the creation of client case studies to support product positioning. 
• Lead or support T2T client meetings concerning Practice Area (regional level)   
• Regionally adjust and implement the global sales strategy for Practice Area / Product strategy in partnership with product marketing  
• Maintain broader Practice Area product/technical knowledge across all SAI tools.  Lead Regional Bootcamps.

Global Projects and Products Accountability

• Build and maintain the knowledge and history of the Santen pharmaceutical products formulation and fill finish (i.e., for API to Finished Product) from late-stage development (i.e., readiness for Phase III) throughout the commercial lifecycle, working in close collaboration with the respective Global R&D, MSAT and wider Product Supply functional teams. 
• Lead to deliver the assets pharmaceutical formulation and fill finish needs, identification, and mitigation of manufacturing, analytics, and primary container closure systems properties risks, as well as drive process characterization studies and strategies to support post-approval changes for the accountable product(s).  
• Create and establish best practices, knowledge sharing platforms with cross-functional and cross-divisional teams across the business (e.g., R&D, MSAT, QA, SC, Regulatory and Project Management) to ensure all Santen pharmaceutical products are maintained in compliance with current international guidelines and requirements. 

Global MSAT Accountability

• Drive with the respective R&D and GPS functions, the global harmonization and standardization of procedures and methodologies for Santen product late-stage pharmaceutical formulation and fill finish development, primary container closure systems compatibilities, specifications and stability requirements, incl. applying and/or introducing PAT, DoE and QbD approaches (i.e., for API to Finished Product). 
• Develop and establish the GPS formulation and fill finish sciences and technology and primary container closure systems selection decision gates for the development of late-stage product readiness confirmation to enable sustainable and reliable phase III clinical material manufacture and future commercial supply. 
• Contribute to the drafting, review and/or approval of current and new (internal) global and/or local standard operating procedures and guidelines, related to the new roles and responsibilities of the FSTL and Global MSAT organization. 

Technology Transfers of Formulation and Fill Finish Processes 

• Lead the pharmaceutical formulation and fill finish transfer teams of both sending and receiving sites (i.e., internal and/or external with CDMO counterparts) to successfully execute the implementation of all formulation and fill finish processes required for the project, by ensuring all planned activities, timelines, resources, and investments are assessed, planned, executed, and delivered in a timely manner and in budget. 
• As a core member of the project leadership team, the FSTL will be reporting the formulation and fill finish processes transfer project progress to the assigned Global Project Lead. 

Single GPS Point of Contact (SPOC) for Due Diligences

• The Formulation & Fill Finish Sciences & Technology Leader will support Due Diligence assessments of new in-licensing products and/or new assets acquisitions for all pharmaceutical formulation and fill finish sciences and technology evaluations. 

Complex Investigations/Improvement Needs for Product(s)

• The Formulation & Fill Finish Sciences & Technology Leader will lead the assessments of complex pharmaceutical formulation and fill finish sciences and technology investigations or requirements for improvement of formulation processes and procedures for products, incompliance with current international guidelines, requirements and/or applicable registrations in Santen territories. 
• She/he will derive the necessary root cause investigation approaches and mitigation strategies to ensure quick turnaround of faced challenges and paced product supply recovery. 

Pharmaceutical Formulation Specific eCTD Sections Oversight

• Own Pharmaceutical Formulation & Fill Finish specific eCTD sections globally for the Santen pharmaceutical products to ensure consistency of content and compliance with all applicable international guidelines and requirements. 

Training

• Own the Training Curriculum for her/his Job Profile and provide the necessary training and support to new associates joining this position.

The person in this role will engage with McDonald’s Technology leadership, vendors, and Global cross functional teams to provide oversight of the progress against the Technology roadmap to Leadership.

The ideal candidate is a highly self-motivated individual with strong strategic abilities and communication skills, who can collaborate effectively with business, market, and vendor teams.

Duties and Responsibilities

Strategy & Alignment

• Defines a clear role and vision for the IDL Segment Technology organisation, consistent with the organization's vision, strategy, and direction.
• Create a rolling Segment level 3yr Technology Roadmap and monitor Global product and solution availability and future capabilities.
• Collaborate across the Segment to ensure that we stay aligned on all strategic objectives.
• Support key governance activities like the IDL Steerco, to facilitate engagement and alignment between Global, Segment and Markets
• Accountable for running 2 Extended Leadership meetings a year (Director +) to ensure continuous alignment across the team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with a range of stakeholders including IDL Leadership, BU Leadership, Segment Teams, and Market teams (JP)

Communication

• Work proactively and share information with the Segment teams in a timely manner to consume at regular meetings or events such as Phase 0 planning, CIO meetings, Security summit, Supplier Summit, or ad hoc remote sessions.
• Manage and enhance the leadership update communication process to ensure that any critical risks are highlighted to key stakeholders early.
• Drive and align communication on key deadlines, technology market charges guide, changes to standards, to ensure that the market leads are aligned.
• Put a communication strategy in place to ensure the right cadence of information is being shared with the team to drive engagement.
• Work collaboratively while demonstrating, communicating, and reinforcing McDonald’s
  company Values.
• Proactively shape and refine the ideas and agendas of the Leadership team.

Governance

• Work closely with Technology leadership to provide oversight of the status and progress of key multi-year programs in the 3yr Technology roadmap (Sesame 1 and STA)
• Be the liaison for contact with center-based Global Technology teams.
• Govern the Global Technology Products & Services adoption or exception process.
• Oversight into the CR - Change Management (Solutions Services Process), and drive awareness across all stakeholder groups to ensure alignment of support tickets.
• Establish the appropriate communication channels to communicate IT Incidents Management and Support

Builds and Leverages Talent

• Supports the creation of successors for key organizational positions.
• Retains key talent by co-creating development plans that motivate and grow them.
• Shapes roles and teams in ways that develop people's unique capabilities while supporting business goals.

• Out-of-class support for technology assignments and projects, labs and course-related matters.
• Supporting in-class delivery of lab exercises.
• Conduct enrichment workshops to strengthen students' IT skills.
• Develop online learning materials.
• Collaborate with faculty to re-design and improve the curriculum by incorporating state-of-the-art technological innovation, systems and applications.
• Partner with industry on application projects.
• Mentor students working on internship or application project.
• Be a part of, and actively involved in SCIS' events.
• Spearhead a "special project" related to specialisation.
• Take the lead in teaching undergraduate or post-graduate courses.

• Bachelor's degree in a computing discipline (Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or Information Technology).
• Master's degree in a computing discipline would be an added advantage.
• Strong industry-based software technology skills and experience.
• Prior experience with large-scale application projects in a business setting.
• More qualified candidates can be considered for a more senior job title.
