Description

Establish Governance and Build Knowledge

• Facilitate an information security governance structure through the implementation of a hierarchical governance program, including the formation of an information security steering committee or advisory board.
• Provide regular reporting on the current status of the information security program to enterprise risk teams and senior business leaders

This will be achieved by conducting thorough needs solicitation and analysis, which will also provide a practical learning opportunity for a polytechnic intern involved in the project.

Objectives

- To gather and analyse detailed functional and technical requirements for the new LMS.

- To enable the polytechnic intern to gain hands-on experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and technical documentation.

- To ensure the LMS aligns with Mendaki’s strategic educational and technological goals.

Scope

- The project encompasses the solicitation of needs, comprehensive requirement analysis, and the drafting of a detailed tender document for procuring the LMS.

- Incorporation of specific learning objectives for the intern to ensure a meaningful internship experience.

- Engagement with various stakeholders to refine the requirements and expectations for the LMS.

- Learn new tools to create educational content and support some administrative duties at work

Phases of the Project with Intern Learning Points

Phase 1: Needs Solicitation

(A) Objectives:

- Collect comprehensive user requirements from diverse stakeholders.

- Provide the intern with experience in designing and conducting surveys and focus groups.

We are seeking a proactive Workspace Technology Engineer to provide end-user support. This role demands a strong problem-solver with excellent communication skills, capable of managing a range of hardware, software, and AV support issues. You’ll be the key interface between IT and the business, contributing to both day-to-day operations and greenfield projects. The ideal candidate will take initiative to analyze problems, propose solutions, and see them through to implementation while working alongside the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial point of contact for Workspace Technology issues, managing and resolving problems based on priority and severity.
• Ensure continuous availability of computing resources for end-users, coordinating with IT resources for escalated issues when necessary.
• Support cloud environments including servers, networks, and applications as needed.
• Provide timely resolutions via phone, email, or in-person support.
• Build, deploy, and manage Workspace Technology devices (including imaging, antivirus systems, application maintenance, patching, and system rollouts).
• Lead system orientation for new hires and manage end-user devices such as laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
• Document processes, standards, configurations, and procurement details, ensuring records are up to date.
• Collaborate with the wider Workspace Technology team and Technology Team resources for comprehensive problem resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2-5 years of end-user or infrastructure support experience in a professional services environment.
• Fundamental understanding of Microsoft 365 (M365) setup and management within an organization.
• Good knowledge of hardware, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Strong customer service orientation and a passion for helping end-users resolve issues efficiently.
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and handle urgent situations with professionalism.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively in both independent and team settings.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with supporting users in the financial industry or on the trading floor.
• Strong technical background with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Experience with Azure Active Directory, Windows, Unix environments, desktop, and server hardware.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS (certifications are an advantage).

Job Summary

The job holder (2 years contract) reports to Director CDLT and is part of the management team that evaluates emerging pedagogy and technology related to education including implementing viable technological tools to enhance teaching and learning.

The job holder will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the curriculum and content development are developed successfully, and any learning technology adopted are with continuity through the provision of training, and the creation of self-help resources for users to enhance learning and good learner academic performance.

The job holder is expected to work from 8.30 am to 6.00 pm on weekdays and may be required to work over the weekends and Public Holidays to support MENDAKI’s events. Although the job holder is largely expected to work in an indoor environment, he is also expected to travel frequently for meetings.

Curriculum Development

• Design and manage development of innovative, outcome-focused curriculum materials aligned with educational objectives and industry standards.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure curriculum content is current, engaging, and pedagogically sound.
• Recommend and integrate the learning technologies, including Learning Management Systems (“LMS”) and other educational tools, to enhance curriculum delivery and students’ engagement.
• Manage all instructional designs, employing evidence-based practices to create effective learning experiences.
• Manage the development of multi-media elements, including graphics, videos, and interactive components, to enhance instructional content with graphic and video developer.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in educational technology to inform strategic decision-making and evaluate the pedagogical affordances.
• Manage storyboards and prototypes to outline the flow and structure of instructional content.
• Ensure curriculum designs are based on feedback and usability testing to enhance the learning experience.
• Make data-driven decisions to continuously improve curriculum content and delivery methods.
• Check that all multi-media elements are integrated seamlessly into the overall instructional design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including educators, technologists, and administrators, to ensure seamless integration of technology into the curriculum.

• Establish and enforce quality assurance processes for curriculum and instructional design, ensuring a high standard of excellence in educational content.
• Manage needs assessments to identify gaps in knowledge and skills and determine the most effective instructional strategies to address them.
• Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of instructional materials and technology tools.
• Ensure that curriculum materials and learning technologies comply with relevant educational standards, regulations, and accreditation requirements.

• Develop and implement professional development programmes for educators and instructional designers, focusing on the effective use of learning technologies and best practices in instructional design.

• Conduct training sessions for educators and administrators on the effective use of learning technologies and newly developed curriculum materials.

Requirements

• 8 - 10 years of related curriculum development, instructional design and learning development experience as well as learning technology.
• Experience with LMS and tools for learning (e.g.Articulate 360, Google Suite).
• Preferably had a master’s degree in MA (Instructional Design & Technology) or MEd (Learning Sciences & Technologies) or equivalent.
• Good understanding of youth, educationand working landscapes.
• Proficient knowledge of instructional design and current learning pedagogies and technologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage stakeholders across different levels.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Coordinating, planning and execute the project plan with our Clients in Semiconductor Industry

2. Project formulation and monitoring progress and schedule

3. Collaborate and liaise with internal engineering teams / sub-contractors, and all involved parties, to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables

4. Carry out equipment operation training and formulate training plans

5. Liaison with customers, to trouble-shoot and resolve technical issues of the equipments

6. In charge of the installation, commissioning and after-sales support of the equipment

Requirements:

1. Diploma or above, major in Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

2. Simple graphic design skills required

3. At least 3 years working experience in after-sales sevice of Automation Equipment

4. Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, PPT, etc

5. Bilingual with good communication skills

6. Able to participate in overseas projects and trainings

7. Preferably with the Certificate of Working at Height and a Safety Officer Management Certificate (training course will be sponsored if you don’t have one currently)
