A Project Engineer, or Project Management Engineer, is in charge of planning and coordinating technical engineering initiatives to make sure they can complete a project within their budget and according to a schedule. Their duties include upholding project standards by researching compliance regulations, developing project implementation plans and adjusting specifications for elements of a project.

Project Engineer duties and responsibilities

Project Engineers manage the planning and processes of a project and delegate responsibilities to ensure the project is completed efficiently and successfully. Job Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Site manager
• Execute large Chiller plant Oeprations and maintenace for Pump set
• Ensure operations SOPs are available and always updated
• Upkeep maintenance records
• Investigate and report equipment defect, deficiency and abnormalities
• Issue work order for equipment with abnormalities
• Ensure all Mechanical system and related works carried out by sub-contractor are planned and executed to the requirements
• To be competent in overseeing sub contractor work, coordination with other department and to ensure EHS and Regulatory compliance at the site.
• Provide effective leadership to a team of Technican by efficiently delegating tasks and resources to achieve daily operations requirement
• Identify and arrange for the training and development of the technicians at site.
• Ready to respond to emergencies and instructions provided by direct supervisor
• Schedule the work timetable for the equipment maintenance/overhaul

Job requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any discipline
• At least 5 years of relevant maintenance work experience in industrial plant operations
• Technical knowledge in rotating and static mechanical & electrical equipment maintenance and machinery vibration analysis will be an added advantage.
• Possess good communication, analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Self-motivated and values teamwork.
• Willing to be on the ground

General Accountabilities

• Regular visit to SI key partners to further expand and explore potential sales opportunities.
• Supporting key Partners on Sell out Targets set by HQ.
• Planning product promotion according to R&D and marketing research;
• Provide customer support and product solutions training
• Participate in important project product selection, solution providing, bidding scheme and implementation plan evaluation;
• Develop and implement quarterly sales plans and achieving individual KPI set and any other scopes as determine by management.

Job Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree.
• Min. 5 years‘experience in related field.

PROJECT ENGINEER

Responsibilities

- Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications

- Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field

- Assign responsibilities and mentor project team

- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support

Requirements:

• Minimum relevant certificate in Mechanical Engineering
