Position Purpose

To team with up the supply chain financing solutions team with Business Analyst to work on projects and application support of Connexis Supply Chain (Front Office & Back Office Application) global releases.

To work with Product Managers and Operation users from all the regions (APAC/EMEA/AMERICAS) on the requirements gathering, impact analysis and functional specifications for the enhancements and issues reported in production. CSC Business Analyst is also responsible to define the test scope of SIT, UAT, and NRT and validating test outcomes with the users and testers.

Responsibilities:

Direct Responsibilities

• To ensure the business/operational objectives of the new business requirements are well defined

• Performing systematic business analysis

• For production defects, perform functional analysis and propose solutions.

• Ensure Bank compliance policies and CIB ITO APAC standards/practices are strictly followed.

Areas of focus and responsibilities

• Perform technical support functions via phone, remote connection and desk side visits
• Log calls in the Service Desk management tool to ensure incidents and requests are managed in a timely manner and escalated using the correct procedures. Close calls when a satisfactory resolution has been achieved
• Correctly diagnose software and hardware faults and liaise with 3rd party engineers. Incidents should be carried out within reasonable time scales and monitored to resolution
• Identify major support incidents and liaise with support teams, following the Major Incident process
• Build and support laptops, desktops, printers and remote devices such as iPhones
• Inform the Regional IT Service Desk Manager of any escalating support issues in order that they may be resolved within reasonable time scales
• Assist with user account management and administration i.e. new hires/leavers etc

They serve as the first point of contact for end-users experiencing technical issues with their computer systems, software applications, or hardware peripherals, ensuring a prompt, effective, and smooth delivery of services to the end users.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide timely and effective support to end-users through various available channels like phone, emails, chat, or in-person interactions.
• Perform remote assistance through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues with the best solution based on the description and details provided by end users.
• Accurately identify the correct category in ServiceNow and escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support in ServiceNow with clear and concise descriptions in the ServiceNow logs.
• Act as a single point of contact between end-users and next-level support until the issue is resolved.
• Identify areas of improvement in procedures and processes, and document them in the repository for service improvement and knowledge sharing with end users and internal teams.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, software updates, and industry best practices to be able to recommend upgrades or improvements to existing systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or a relevant field.
• ITIL Foundation in Service Management certification.
• Proven experience in providing helpdesk support for at least 3 years and above.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts and familiarity with common software applications and productivity tools.
• Understanding of security protocols and best practices.
