About the Team

BytePlus Recommend is one of the key products for enterprise clients from the AML(Applied Machine Learning) team. The AML team has extensive expertise in recommendation systems, with significant practical achievements across both internal business applications and external enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

- Define the product positioning and GTM strategy for BytePlus Recommend Product.

- Conduct market research/user research, develop the product roadmap, define core product metrics, and collaborate with the development team to implement product features.

- Research, design, review, and evaluate product functions, collect user feedback, and drive continuous data-driven iterations.

- Align goals with collaborating product teams and promote cooperation.

- Drive market research studies to explore new technology and oversee development of business proposals for new opportunities

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor degree or above, at least 3 years of working experience in product management.

- Familiar with recommendation systems, familiar with public cloud industry trends, familiar with big data or machine learning SaaS/PaaS cloud products.

Role of Position

Leading a team of Workplace Safety & Health Staff, the incumbent is overall responsible for the functions of the organizations EHS Team and the effective implementation of the Organizations SHMS within all departments and sites.

Job Descriptions

· Responsible for the scheduling and delivery of timelines integrated within the Organization’s SHMS;

· Effective deployment of EHS personnel within the Organization;

· Review of outgoing EHS documentation to external agencies;

· Monitor EHS inventories;

· Monitoring and analysing CAPA request submissions;

· Monitor development of Organization’s internal EHS training plan for purpose of continual improvement;

· Monitor the assessment of shortlisting suppliers/vendors engaged by the Organization;

· Monitor the closure for inspections conducted within the Organization and the resultant trends analysis and to implement appropriate initiative to promote continual improvement;

·Monitor all applicable legal requirements to ensure that they are identified, evaluated, communicated and documented.

· Plans, organizes and manages the activities of EHS function to fulfil the requirements set out in the Organizations SHMS;

· Provides effective leadership to team members ensuring good employee morale and performance;

· Motivates, coaches and counsels team members on an ongoing basis and ensures that good team work and esprit-de-corps exist in the EHS Department;

· Engages and disciplines poorly performing members within the EHS team;

· Co-ordinates the work of WSHO cum ECOs and allocate tasks;

· Develops good professional working relationships with suppliers, vendors, contractors, clients and consultants;

· Ensures that EHS functions are carried out in a highly ethical manner and all decisions are made on objective grounds;

· To lead the EHS functions effectively and to innovate for continuous improvement;

· Organizes monthly dialogue sessions with EHS team members;

· Ensures convening of monthly corporate EHS meeting;

· Any other duties as may be assigned.

Qualification Requirement

· Degree in Environmental Safety and Health and,

· WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health or,

· Safety Officer Training Certificate, supplemented with Risk Management Course Certificate and Managing Work at Heights Course or Higher;

· Certificate of Performance - Environmental Control Officer’s Course;

· Certificate of Registration for Workplace Safety and Health Officers;

Certificate of Registration for Environmental Control Officers.

Experience

· 5 years practicing as an EHS Manager, and;

· Minimum 5 year post registration of Workplace Safety and Health Officers with the Ministry of Manpower.

The role:

• Market products and services to current and potential customers in cleanroom, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, research, academia, and food and beverage sectors.
• Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives for products and assigned agencies.
• Gain technical knowledge of products to effectively engage with clients.
• Oversee marketing campaigns, including trade-in offers and workshops.
• Manage direct sales to customers and distributors, generating leads and building relationships with key decision-makers.

What we are looking for:

• The ideal candidate should possess a background in Product Management, with substantial experience in sales within the cleanroom, industrial, pharmaceutical, or diagnostics sectors. This experience should specifically relate to capital equipment (CAPEX) and engineering or integration solutions.
• A minimum of a diploma in Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field is required.
• Candidates should have at least three years of experience demonstrating a strong sales record, particularly in the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, and Diagnostics markets, including laboratories, hospitals, R&D clients, academia, food and beverage, and industrial sectors.
• Proficiency in preparing tenders and requests for quotations (RFQs) along with cost estimation is essential.
• Exceptional presentation abilities are necessary, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The candidate should be target-oriented and capable of working independently.

About the Role:

• Manage and support the overall financial reporting and financial closing in compliance with US GAAP, FRS, and Group reporting requirements, and financial analysis for various entities.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Analyze P&L variances month-over-month, perform Balance Sheet reconciliation, and provide advice on appropriate corrective measures and treatment.
• Actively support month-end closing activities to ensure accurate and timely revenue and cost recognition. Review and highlight any variances to the business prior to monthly and annual closing.

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance and qualified chartered accountant.
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in accounting and audit, including experience in a Big 4 firm and a commercial environment.
• Proficiency and strong understanding of US GAAP and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
