Requirements

• 6+ years' experience in procurement/category management

• CIPS / ISM qualifications

Responsibility

• Assists day-to-day operation by picking up the phone calls/email/walk-ins/ticketing system to understand user’s enquires/request, provide IT support and perform troubleshooting or escalate to the relevant PIC, or provide alternatives to resolves the cases.
• Ad-hoc duties such as software installation, clone laptops, inventory checks, disposal etc.
• Perform troubleshooting in systems and report the status to superior on time without delay .
• To support project from another team/section/department as instructed by superior .
• To perform any ad-hoc assignment as instructed by superior .

Requirements

• Diploma or Higher Nitec studied in IT or related fields
• Preferable with at least 1-2 years of relevant working experience
• Responsible, meticulous, fast learner and able to understand the internal system process quickly
• Able to follow the internal systems thoroughly to make sure the tasks are smoothly process

Key Responsibilities:

• Minimum 4-6 years of relevant experience in managing technology products, with a focus on web-based technologies.

About Role

The role has an overall responsibility for defining end-to-end domain specific solutions across business, operations, technology and compliance. Accountable for pro-actively identifying the business challenges, define bank-wide solutions and ensure these ‘fit for purpose’ solutions are delivered.

Job Objectives

The successful candidate is expected to:

a. Demonstrate deep domain expertise to ensure he/she is a trusted business partner who can identify business challenges and propose holistic sustainable solutions.

b. Build relationships with and between stakeholders across development, testing, business analysts and operational business partners.

c. Support the business by defining, developing and delivering solution concepts within the constraints, in a way that is sensitive

to, and compatible with the business priorities.

d. Provide thought leadership by conceptualizing solutions to incorporate cutting-edge technologies into the group.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution Definition and Delivery

a. Help the business user to articulate their business requirements in a structured manner.

b. Translate these business objectives into an architectural approach and solution, in term of:

i. Business and process architecture

ii. Technology architecture (application, infrastructure and security)

c. Define practical roadmap considering business, technical and delivery constraints

d. Identify operations impact of the solution and liaise with operations to define the appropriate operating model

e. Address all business challenges from a Technology & Operations perspective and ensure proposed solutions address issues with business, operations, technology, compliance any other impacted business units

f. Improve existing approaches and/or develops new approaches to achieving improvement

g. Spot potential problems, recognize the risk impact and propose risk mitigation strategies

h. Lead the solution definition work-stream during implementation, to ensure the integrity of the business solutions is maintained

i. Manage technology roadmap once the various projects have started to monitor the deviation to the roadmap and architecture

and plan the remediation accordingly with the various project teams.

2. Stakeholder Relationship Management

a. Acts as a single point of contact for all domain specific improvements and challenges

b. Supports effective business change by building relationships with and between development teams, business analysts, testing teams and operational business partners

c. Provides well-informed advice, typically within a specific domain specialism, ensuring that it is properly understood and appropriately exploited, to enhance the effectiveness of significant activities

d. Anticipates customer needs; responds to and follows through on customer enquiries, requests and issues to complete resolution or satisfaction in a timely manner

Must Have

a. Banking Architecture skills across Retail and Wholesales business domains.

It encompases but not limited to: core banking, payments, trades, cards, branches systems, ATM, Loyalty , internet and mobile banking, reporting and MIS.

b. Domain expertise with an excellent awareness of the various front-end and back-end systems and processes

c. Heterogeneous technology platform knowledge such as AS400, Mainframe, open systems (unix, Java, Microsoft), MQ.

d. Excellent communication and presentations skills to C-level, with the ability to synthetize and simplify technology solution and challenges.

e. Ability to communicate effectively with technology and operations staff.

f. Bachelor’s degree in engineering/ business/ finance or equivalent

Good to have

a. IT Strategy onsulting experience will be an added advantage

b. Experience with banks and/or leading innovative technology organizations

c. Experience in managing and working with vendors to deliver projects is an added advantage
