• Design, develop, implement, maintain and review competitive Total Rewards programs for the region Asia to attract, motivate and retain talent
• Support regional and local HR as well as Talent Acquisition in the creation of competitive reward offers for new hires based on business needs, affordability and compliance with existing compensation and benefits structures
• Support the global annual income increase budgeting process for all countries in the region and make reasonable and data-based recommendations for merit increase budgets in alignment with regional and local HR and management
• Own the job grading process in the region, incl. job analysis, job titles and job descriptions; support Global Rewards in the grading of senior management jobs in the region
• Develop annual salary ranges for the countries in the region that enable the calculation of employees’ individual market pay positions/compa-ratios based on the obtained market data
• Support the global merit cycle and bonus calculation process, esp. by modeling and providing pay/merit matrixes for the countries in the region to ensure fair, competitive and performance-based salary adjustments
• Plan, administer and review Santen’s benefits programs and employee benefits offerings in Singapore, and support benefits programs in other countries in Asia
• Provide guidance and recommendations to managers in the region on all Rewards-related matters
• Manage all Rewards-related employee and manager communication in the region in close collaboration with regional and local HR by providing relevant and meaningful communication material
• Support Global Rewards in rolling out global Rewards initiatives, programs and processes, esp. by providing data as well as customizing and delivering global communication based on regional needs
• Ensure that Rewards practices of all kinds are in compliance with the respective countries’ legislation
• Stay updated of industry trends and identify opportunities to enhance existing Rewards programs, plans and policies in a cost-effective manner; monitor legislation changes that may have an impact on existing Rewards practices in the region and take actions as required
• Manage regional Rewards-related vendors as and when required to ensure effective service delivery, holding them accountable based on service level agreements

What will you be doing?

Safety policy and objectives

• Support the implementation, maintenance and improvement of KONE safety management system (operating model) including worker, user and third party safety
• Cultivate an understanding and actively caring culture for safety. Act as a role model  
• Compile, maintain and improve safety documentation together with the unit safety team
• Actively participate in and contribute to unit safety committee and other safety forums
• Provide professional advice and support to the unit on matters affecting safety
• Plan, participate in and implement projects and activities to improve safety
• Work closely with customers and partners, including KONE subcontractors
• Support the development, review and exercise of crisis and emergency response plans   

Safety risk management

• Monitor and develop safety risk management processes, tools and practices
• Support safety related change management projects and initiatives

Safety assurance

• Collect, measure and ensure accuracy of leading and lagging safety data. Report performance  
• Monitor legal and business environment development in safety, identify and propose actions
• Perform safety audits regularly to verify compliance, identify uncontrolled risks and deviations
• Assist line management in safety audits/visits and support the audit process improvement
• Analyze and investigate incidents. Support the investigation process improvement
• Manage corrective and preventive actions for continual improvement

Safety promotion

• Develop own competences as a safety specialist in co-operation with the manager
• Support the training and development of others’ safety competences in the unit
• Proactively communicate safety information including investigation outcomes and best practices

Are you the one?

• Recognized professional qualification in safety.
• Registered as WSH Officer with MOM for at least 10 years preferred.
• Minimum 10 years working experience in the building construction industry preferred.
• Good knowledge of applicable safety regulations
• Safety management system, tools and certifications experience
• Problem solving, incident management, auditing and analysis skills
• People management, training and communication skills
• Strong people and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in digital and mobile environment
