Job Scope:

• Work closely with IT Manager and other internal stakeholders on assigned IT support functions to achieve operational efficiency and ensure smooth execution of works
• Liaise with users and IT vendors for the delivery of IT solutions and services
• setup, configure and maintenance of computer hardware, network and systems
• Troubleshoot and provide IT technical support to end-users on hardware, software and network issues
• Provide desktop, notebook and printer user support including site installation
• Manage the data protection and cyber security functions. Ensure proper security system setup and maintenance
• Maintain IT assets, systems documentation and software licenses
• Knowledge on the use of SharePoint would be added advantage. Other duties as assigned by the management

Job Scope:

- Handle Day-To-Day Business Operations of Singapore's #1 Education Agency

- Attend to interested clients via various forms of warm leads (form orders, calls, WhatsApp...etc)

(no cold-calling or anything of that sort!)

- Assist clients in shortlisting and recommending suitable tutor profiles based on their criterias

- Coordinate and arrange 1st tuition lesson for clients and tutors

- Follow-up with any necessary administrative support and after-sales service

You will be working in Nippon Sanso Holdings Singapore company, part of the Nippon Sanso Holdings parent company. You will be reporting to the regional SEA+I IT & IS Senior Manager.

You will be responsible for leading the local IT teams across the SEA+I region to deliver exceptional IT client services to our group companies.

You will be the technology champion who can provide the roadmap and drive digitization, digitalization, and digital transformation in support of our business operations.

You will foster strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders to deliver, manage and support quality IT services around the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Working with Regional and Local teams to deliver quality and secure IT services that are aligned with local business needs and meet regulatory and legislative requirements.
• Responsible for high quality, consistently clear and regular communications to promote the technology department and our services.
• Orchestrate and lead the local IT teams to work together as one single high performing agile team in support of the whole region.
• Work closely with vendors and service providers to innovate and manage highly cost-effective IT services.
• Create and monitor key performance metrics for continuous service improvement to deliver and exceed user expectations.
• Point of contact between Regional and Local teams to implement key initiatives for the organisation.
• Implement and maintain a Problem and Incident Management process across the SEA+I region
• Develop and maintain documentation, operational IT procedures, and troubleshooting steps
• Embrace and champion operational excellence at all levels of IT/IS operations in all the teams in the region

General Requirements

• Over 8 years experience in general IT and more than 3 years experience in regional IT client services management with global organizations
• Demonstrated experience in the leadership and management of IT staff across different countries and cultures.
• Experience in general IT governance (organizational management, technology evaluation, vendors management, program planning etc.)
• Project Management and decentralized team coordination experience
• Well-rounded IT technical knowledge across end user computing environments and ITIL service management
• Relevant certifications (e.g. Information Technology Infrastructure Library, Microsoft Certification, Certified Information Security and/or Project Management Professional, …) are a plus.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written (C1 English level)
• Experience with different cultures and languages in Asia would be a plus
• Bachelor or Master degree (Computer Science) or equivalent through experience
• Flexibility to travel (25-30% travel)

Back-End - SQL Server

Responsibilities

• Designing database tables

• Creating views, functions and stored procedures

• Writing optimized SQL queries for integration with other applications

• Creating task schedules for use in automation

• Creating SSIS projects for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load),

• Creating reports in SSRS

• Optimize and maintain legacy systems

• Modify databases according to requests and perform tests

• Monitoring and managing user enquiries and issues on the systems helpdesk

• Troubleshooting system issues

• Extraction of reports as per the business requirements

• Support existing systems

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge on SQL server 2016 or above

• Hands-On experience on writing stored procedures, performance tuning and troubleshooting

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) , Integration services (SSIS)

• Familiarity working with .Net Framework, JavaScript, HTML

• Understanding of Agile methodologies

• Good troubleshooting and communication skills

• Attention to detail

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
