Position Summary:

The Chemical Technician is responsible for the set up and operation of production equipment in their assigned production area used to produce products in a safe and efficient manner. The role utilizes both automated and manual systems to add raw materials, initiate and monitor the process to transform the raw materials into finished product. Several actions require manual operator actions that include obtaining samples for testing, manual material additions, vessel and line washing, and documentation of critical process steps.

Technical Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience as a Chemical Technician with a petrochemical / chemical / pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Singapore.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft software applications helpful. Keyboarding proficiency and general computer knowledge/experience preferred.

THE ROLE

This individual is responsible for execution of compounding chemicals. He should be able understand the flow of mixing and work harmoniously with the group.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
