As Concierge, you will assist in the delivery of guest requests and enquiries to ensure complete guest satisfaction. You will also be a brand ambassador and develop great working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Assist guests with all inquiries, both hotel and non-hotel related
- Manage all guests’ telephone calls, mails, courier services, postage, telexes and special deliveries in accordance with policy
- Manage emails and update log book about emails to take note that requires bell services and airport representative’s knowledge
- Maintain order and security of guest keys and other selected keys kept in Front Office and ensuring key issue policy is followed
- Maintain detailed knowledge of daily activities in and outside of the hotel
- Assist superior with all team member related matters (staffing, training, providing constructive feedback)
- Ensure that all guests’ baggage are received and delivered upon arrival and departure even for baggage storage pertaining to the hotel’s procedures
- Be aware of daily arrivals and departures with emphasis on VIPs
- Supervise traffic control along the driveway during peak hours
- Ensure sufficient manpower coverage at the main entrance
What we need from you
- A minimum qualification in GCE O levels
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience
- Able to work rotating shifts, including night shifts
- Able to stand long hours and lift weights of at least 10kg
- Independant and motivated individual with friendly personality
- Fluent English and local language is essential, any additional other languages would be an advantage
