The Role

We require a full-time teacher to work in the Languages & Classics Faculty who can teach Spanish across the full 11-18 age range. The school currently offers Spanish at A Level and IB (Higher and Standard level) and, whilst it is not a pre-requisite, experience in either post-16 pathway, would be an added advantage.

The Faculty is committed to the use of Technology for Learning, so an interest and experience in this methodology is also desirable.

The role reports to Assistant Head of Faculty (Languages - Spanish).

1. Learning & Teaching

2. Planning & Development

3. Management of Resources and the Teaching Environment

• Assist the AHOF in identifying appropriate resources within the limits of the departmental budget.
• Assist the AHOF in ensuring that departmental rooms present stimulating environments, which help to influence students’ attitudes positively towards Spanish.

4. Assessment, Recording & Reporting

• Ensure students’ work is regularly assessed according to Languages and Classics Faculty policy and that homework is in line with school policy.
• Report to parents in accordance with the school’s reporting policy as laid down in the Staff Handbook.
• To use information gained from assessment, recording and reporting procedures to generate further improvement in student achievement.
• Assist the AHOF in the setting and marking of school examinations and to supervise entries for external examinations.

• Follow the School’s policies and procedures with regard to discipline and behaviour, daily routines, duties, homework, leave of absence, and visits, as laid down in the Staff Handbook.

6. Communication and Liaison

• Help to establish a love of language learning through your own enthusiasm for the subject.

• Liaise with the AHOF and HOF in respect of student records, rewards and sanctions.

• Liaise with members of the Learning Support Team with regard to individual students who may have exceptional needs, to ensure that those needs are understood, planned for and met.

Responsibilities

1) Analyze, and collaborate with Engineering teams on implementation of data architecture that ensures enterprise data is stored securely and managed effectively, including maintenance of data models, data dictionaries, and data lineage documentation

Roles & Responsibilities:

A Research fellow position is available in Dr. Anand Andiappan Laboratory at the Singapore Immunology Network (SIgN). The successful candidate will support the research work that focuses on studying allergenomics and immunogenicity in the context of human health. The candidate will work on primary cells from cohorts and cell culture systems towards understanding allergenicity and immune responses. Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership:

Project Overview

SMART CAMP (Critical Analytics for Manufacturing Personalized-Medicine) is a interdisciplinary research programme in Singapore (CREATE international research campus and innovation hub) and at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). SMART CAMP addresses key technology bottlenecks in cell therapy manufacturing: (i) critical quality attributes of safe, effective cell therapy products; and (ii) integrated process analytics to monitor and modulate those attributes. While cell therapies are poised to transform healthcare for both the industry and the patient, there remain many outstanding scientific and technical challenges to significant global impact that this R&D programme addresses. This high-impact focus includes measurement and feedback control of processing parameters (process analytic technologies, or PAT) that contribute to cell viability and function during cell proliferation, and the measurement at intermediate and final steps of the cell product properties correlated with positive therapeutic outcomes (critical quality attributes, or CQA).

This interdisciplinary team comprises engineers, biologists, clinicians, manufacturing, and data analytics experts from multiple MIT academic units, and multiple Singapore-based universities, research centres of excellence, and hospitals who are experienced at translational demonstrations of technologies in safety-regulated industries such as cell therapies.

CAMP’s unique, enabling and cross-cutting capabilities include cell and clinical biology, microfluidics, real-time optics and spectroscopies, 3D-printed devices, process analytics, data analytics, and bioinformatics. • Be involved in Singapore Polytechnic, SP infrastructure and facilities planning, development and management.
• Provide technical support and assistance to SP Master Plan Project team to access and acquire information on SP’s infrastructure and installed systems.
• Attend and participate in relevant meetings (design planning, interface, technical clarification, etc) as per planned schedule to provide technical inputs as needed.
• Support and input to the consultants’ technical and design proposal to meet SP’s operation needs and minimising M&E services disruption.
• Coordinate internally for design and interface coordination through the various transition phases of the SP Master Plan.
• Review and input to proposed work plans and schedules to achieve control, compatibility and coordinated objective to avoid and minimise operation disruptions.
• Assist in the management of the appointed maintenance agent and specialist system vendors in their maintenance scope and planned program including breakdown investigations, inspections and audit.
• Be the bridge between FM and consultants, so that detailed information, including operations workflows, interdependencies, additional requests and ideas, are documented, transferred and communicated between and with all parties in a timely manner, and captured for holistic design, development and subsequent procurement planning.
• Follow through on the project, including obtaining the sign offs and approvals where necessary before the space is built, all the time ensuring that the space is built according to approved plans.
• Keep abreast of latest Singapore Standards and authority requirement, so as to lead Singapore Polytechnic in the desired direction.
• Interface with the consultants and build stakeholder relationships, both internal and external, including government agencies and community partners.
• Responsible for budgetary planning and control, ensuring that the development keeps within budget.
• Write papers for approval on relevant subjects when required.
• Support the rest of the campus planning team where required.

Other Project and Programme Management and Implementation of Strategy and Initiatives

• Manage and coordinate several on-going projects and events at a time, keeping an eye on each timeline and achieving milestone goals to meet specific deadlines.
• Assist in identifying strategy goals, initiatives and programmes, and developing action plans for and coordinating implementation.
• Review the initiative and programme execution at regular intervals and report the progress at management meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirement

• Minimum Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related discipline).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experiences.
• Previous experience in Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) installation work is advantageous.
• Good interpersonal skills and customer service oriented.
• Positive work attitude, ability to work with all levels of staffs and strong team player.
• Possess confidence to resonate with senior management leadership – internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to multi-task and work under tight timelines.
• Good analytical and organization skills including computer literacy.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skill.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and strategic planning capabilities.
• Strong team-player, with natural ability to interact with all levels of staff.
• Good listening ability, and a positive attitude.
• Certification as Fire Safety Manager and/or Green Mark Facilities Manager will be an advantage
