For the academic year 2024 / 2025 we are looking for motivated secondary school teachers who are willing to go the extra mile, preferably to teach the following subjects or a combination thereof:

Physics, Mathematics, Informatics

Responsibilities

Key requirements

· Minimum of two years teaching experience

· Recognized teaching qualification (1st and 2nd Staatsexamen or equivalent recognized teaching qualification)

Salary Depending on Experience and Qualification

Responsibilities

• Desk research on current scientific interests (using Dimensions, Web of Science, Prophy, and others)
• Create regular reports on scientific trends based on above desk research, to present to Supervisor in Editorial Department
• Familiarization with editorial processes for book and journals (excellent interns may be assigned production duties)

Requirements

• Currently studying Diploma in any course under Applied Sciences or Engineering in a local polytechnic, preferably more scientific in nature
• Recent graduates from any local Junior College will also be considered
• No publishing experience is required, but interest in scientific publishing is needed (Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Engineering), preferably in Physics. Applicants who are only interested in science research will also be considered.
• Applicants should be highly motivated, independent, inquisitive, and willing to learn about growing fields in scientific research
• Proficient in basic Microsoft Office software (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and online research
• Experience handling big databases will be a plus

Accountable for audits assigned, including planning and control of audit Supervise and coach associates
- Review the workpapers prepared by associates, ensuring quality in compliance with professional standards/requirements
- Monitor budget and understand commercial aspects involved such as billings and collections
- Lead client audit engagements (where necessary), which include planning executing, directing, and completing financial audits
- Ensure completion of audits on time
-Provide guidance to audit associates
-Prepare reports with audit findings and recommendations
-Notify audit issues to managers/supervisors timely and provide recommendations in audit team discussion
- Supervise associates and interns on audit process
