Supervise ongoing projects and assist in design office i.e. resolve all technical issue

· Assist in all AC jobs/projects/contract

· Review all the design/checking of calculations for the company

· Represent the company, advise the same and act on its behalf to enable the company to perform its contractual obligations for the projects, as spelt out in the contract documents

· Act on behalf of the company to maintain reputation and goodwill with the clients

· Assist the Managing Director in subsequent tendering of projects and other contracts including but not limited to government projects, private projects, overseas projects

· Attend all site meetings with clients, contractors, QP Design and relevant authorities on matters related to the projects

· Attend meetings with Managing Director on regular basis with the view to report on matters related to the projects and assist in the resolution of issues which may affect the performance of the company in discharging its contractual obligations to the clients

· Promote the employer’s profile and capabilities in the procurement of projects and business development

· Be a management representative of the company for both site and office projects

· Review the design/checking of calculations

· Carry out planning, design drafting, cost estimate etc for the company’s project

· Prepare proposal and performance on tendering works for Consultancy

· Oversee authority’s submission and update of each project

· To cover duties for other Senior/ Design engineers

· Assist in technical design and drafting

· Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior

Criteria:

• Design Engineer (SDE) shall be an engineer in the civil/structural discipline with at least a degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
• At least ten (10) years of relevant experience on Civil & Structural projects
• Able to problem solve and manage projects

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To fill up marketing-related forms (i.e Document Control Form, Document
• Transmittal Record, MOR and all other internal forms)
• Update and provide daily & weekly reports to Marketing team, HOD and clients
• To assist in preparing tender submission including filling up technical specifications, providing supporting documents and liasing with relevant departments
• Raising POs/Accruals for commissions to brokers on system
• Preparation of Notice of Billing to brokers
• To update bunker reports and to disseminate reports to Marketing, Finance and other relevant departments
• Assist Marketing Manager, Executives in drafting commercial proposals, shipman and contracts
• Basic admin duties i.e. filing, data entry, creating customer records etc.
• Any other adhoc duties as assigned

• Train, coach and assess students and employees with special needs on-site to meet industrial standards and requirements of the nursing homes incorporating Work-readiness Skills and Work Habits – hard and soft skills.
• Support students and employees in integrating in workplace environment, including managing relationships with co-workers and supervisors
• Facilitate and support the implementation, review of the vocational education curriculum to enable students and employees with special needs to achieve competencies in both hard and soft skills.
• Preparing documents, reports and other communication materials, where necessary, for the purpose of communicating information to parents, documenting site observations or incidence reporting
• Monitor students and employees with special needs’ performance using CATs (Continuous Assessment Tools) and SWPs (Standard Work Performance)
• Provide on-site training/supervision as and when needed.

Clinical Care

• Help to maintain a clean, safe and neat environment for the residents by students and employees with special needs in the nursing home.

Administration

• Provide administrative support for training and development activities under SG Enable
• Participating in meetings and trainings to develop relevant knowledge and skills
• Maintain confidentially in all aspects of participants, staff and organisation information
• Other duties as assigned by Care Programme Executive and/or Administrator

Pre-requisites

• A Diploma or GCE A level qualification
• Able to travel to offsite work locations, i.e. employer work sites, with possibility of more than one location a day

• Assist Principal Project Manager (PRPM)/ Senior Project Manager (SPM)/ Project Manager (PM) in day-to-day management of the contract
• Advise the PRPM/SPM/PM on site quality and safety issues.
• Determine any non-conformances on works
• Liaise with Contractor to rectify any non-conformances and document them properly
• Ensure that decisions on site issues are conveyed to the Contractor within a reasonable time frame.
• Ensure that works are carried out according to specifications, drawings and programme without compromising on quality and safety
• Provide feedback to the PRPM/SPM/PM on quality and safety matters and suggest quality improvement measures for implementation on site
• Supervise installation of instrumentation and monitoring of instrumentation
• Lead a team of supervisors to ensure full time supervision of works on site by supervisor /client

Job Requirement

• Minimum Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in project/construction environment

• Required to have at least 2 years of viaduct and/or flyover construction experience
