Sunshine Kids Educare is looking for professional, diligent, and cheerful Early Childhood Development professionals who are passionate about the welfare and care of infants and children. In this role, you would find yourself interacting with children as young as 2 months and as old as 6 years, constantly caring for them and inspiring their growth in various fields. Job Responsibilities:

Assistant Teachers are responsible for the health, safety, hygiene and wellbeing of infants and children in their care. They are expected to be placed in either an infant care role or a childcare role, depending on suitability, preference, and centre requirements. Duties and responsibilities include the following:

Infant Care Role:

• Maintain constant observation and supervision throughout operating hours.
• Provide routine care according to a schedule while catering to the individual needs.
• Routine activity includes changing of diapers, feeding, bathing, washing, napping, and any other activities as required and in accordance with ECDA guidelines.
• Assist in engaging activities for the children, encouraging exploration and creativity.

Childcare Role:

• Establish and enforce rules of behaviour for children in their classrooms.
• Provide for the basic needs of the children (water to drink, chairs to sit on).
• Manage Rountine Cares for children (changing, feeding, wash up)
• Assist Educators to provide a stimulating and safe environment for young children
• Assist Educators to prepare to meet the interests and learning styles of children.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with children and parents.
• Assist in classroom activities including play activities, scheduling breaks and providing meals.
• Work closely with the Principal and other colleagues to maintain a cohesive working environment.
• Meet and respond to the basic needs of children.
• Work with students one-on-one when they need extra help or attention.
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
• Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times.

• Certified by ECDA - Fundamentals Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education

We are looking for creative candidates with an eye for design for the position of Hair Stylist. Hair Stylist duties include consulting clients on hair styling options, describing the benefits of different hair care products, persuading clients to buy their retail products and staying updated on the latest hair trends and styling methods.

• Consulting with clients on stylistic options for their hair.
• Listening to client needs to determine their preferences.
• Describing different hair care products and their benefits.
• Shampooing, cutting, coloring and highlighting hair.
• Offering manicure, pedicure, waxing and facial services.
• Performing scalp treatments.
• Acting as salespersons to sell clients hair care retail products.
• Building a personal relationship with clients to ensure return visits.
• Adhering to salon safety and cleanliness standards.
