· Prepare and process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies, procedures and specifications.

· Manage requestor’s requirements to ensure operational need such as goods and service supply, track orders for timely delivery and quality of purchased products

· Maintain complete updated purchasing records/ data and pricing in the system.

· Monitor and coordinate deliveries of all items purchased to ensure that all items and delivered to store/site on time.

· Filling and control all purchase files.

· Liaising and verifying with accounts department regarding invoices, price and delivery acknowledgements.

· Support relevant departments with quotation for the purpose of tenders.

· Assist in accounting matters such as matching of PO, DO, invoices and preparation of payment, documentation and filing.

Requirements:

Prestigious Interiors Company looking for Quantity Surveyor / Trainee Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:·

1. Quantity taking off and cost comparison for main work trades, negotiate and analysis costs for tenders·
2. Take off quantities, compute costing, monitoring and maintaining the cost expenditure of the Project site assigned.
3. Prepare tender submission including bills of quantities and discuss with Manager for pricing.
4. Source for quotation and administration of contracts; obtaining sub-contractor's quotation for various trade.
5. Prepare monthly progress claim and cost analysis based on the architectural drawings and materials required.
6. Prepare for final submission and follow-up with Tender Questionnaires reply and Interview.
7. Monitoring progress claim and liaise with vendors.
8. Attend Site meeting for on-going project.
9. Process VO and preparing final accounts.
10. Deal with significant contractual issues including extension of time, loss and expense claims, terms and conditions etc.
11. Liaise and establish rapport with all related parties including company clients, contractors, and consultants on certification of claims for payments.
12. Work as part of a team to ensure that the requirements of the Client are delivered.

Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Building, Quantity Survey, Architecture, or its equivalent.
2. Knowledge and experience in using basic AutoCAD and reading drawings.
3. Well versed in contracts documentations including follow-up & submission of tenders
4. Minimum 1 - 2 years’ relevant experience in Interiors Design building construction field.

• Maintain a register of operatives and staff on-site detailing their training records
• Identify training needs of site personnel and inform them of upcoming training bookings
• Liaise with the Foreman to complete staff wages in the draft, and finalise with the Site Agent
• Produce a site register to record all items to be inspected under LOLER and PUWER Regulations, and ensure they are regularly checked.
• Record the condition of the plant arriving on site on a form with photographs
• . Check the weekly plant & equipment sheet against the actual onsite and ensure any anomalies are resolved through communication with the Cost Manager.
