Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

1. Support and track submission of reports (including medical reports), identify cases of delays and to take timely follow up actions including updating of records in system.

2. Identify and monitor cases that require further medical reviews, take appropriate actions to identify and expedite cases that have experienced delays or lapses and/or to prevent delays

3. Accurate and timely processing of medical reports and related documents received.

4. Liaise with various internal and external parties for prompt follow up and resolution.

5. Manage cases for cessation and resumption of medical reviews, including managing the notifications.

6. Manage cases that require change of appointments with internal or external agencies

We are inviting applicants for the positions of Technical Officer (Mechanical) who shall report to the Senior Engineer (Mechanical Maintenance) and be responsible for supporting him in the maintenance of mechanical systems of the power station/plants. The Technical Officer shall support Mechanical team in the following:

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for proper maintenance of gas turbine, generator and auxiliary systems as assigned by Head or Engineers in-charge.
• Perform troubleshooting, predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure plant equipment and systems run smoothly and efficiently
• Identify, plan and initiate required actions to maintain the power plants for long term reliability and efficient generation output.
• Prepare technical specifications for equipment services, contract labour and ad-hoc maintenance services. Supervise and report performance of contractors to ensure good quality and progress of maintenance works, as well as full compliance with contract specifications.
• Liaise, supervise, and coordinate with contractors and vendors on projects, maintenance, repair, shut down, and overhaul works
• Support operation and maintenance engineers in investigation, analyse and determine the root cause of plant defects and outages.
• Maintain and control all records as required.
• Assist in the preparation, certification and review of all management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001, ISO 50001 annually and provide support to the auditing parties wherever necessary, including internal & external auditors, to rectify non compliances and/or to follow up on improvement items identified during audit.
• Support engineers in managing maintenance contracts and inspections, testing and commissioning of new equipment.
• Monitor ad-hoc plant projects/tasks to ensure on time delivery.
• Perform work orders allocated by Department Heads and/or Engineers

Requirements:

• Education in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 2 years’ Mechanical maintenance experience in a power plant
• Willing to work overtime
• Self-driven with good working attitude and possess keen learning disposition
• Proven attendance record and works well in a team
• Work location is in Jurong Island (Transport to and from Jurong East MRT are provided)
