Position: HR Executive (Payroll/F&B Industry) (Job ID:18925)

Job Description

• Assist the Senior HR executive to process the full spectrum of payroll related matters
• Manage and handle employee’s records in HR system
• Prepare monthly payroll transactions (approximately 800-1000 headcounts)
• Responsible for work pass administration such as work pass applications, renewal, cancellation and issuance
• Manage E-leave & E-attendance, including leave type entry, entitlement, application, certificate collection & approval and daily employee’s attendance
• Ensure timely & accurate submissions in all government and related claims, e.g. CPF, Childcare Leave, Maternity/Paternity Leave, NS makeup claims, income tax (IR8A & IR21) matters etc.
• Prepare OT monitoring weekly report & monthly reports in a timely and accurate manner
• Provide advice and handle all employee inquiries on HR-related matters

Job Requirement

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or Administrative / Business Studies
• At least 1 years of payroll related experience
• Familiar with MOM regulations, Employment Act and HR practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Able to start immediately or within a short notice
• Person with Administrative Experience can also apply

Job Responsibilities:

The expected responsibilities are;

• Archive the department's strategic mission through managing and motivating the team members.

Job Description

• Management of Ship Section which includes budget & settlement, risk management, legal compliance etc.
• Broking on Sales & Purchase / Chartering / Financing of commercial ships for shipping companies in Asia pacific, South Asian region
• Building relationships with major shipping companies in the above region
• Exploration of new investment opportunities on seaborn transportation of LNG / LPG / Ammonia / Hydrogen etc
• Relationship building with clients in the region, including Japanese maritime industries (shipping company, owner, shipyard, financier, maker)
• Exploration of new business opportunity with other Marubeni’s business units.
• Report on department business to local management and HQ
• Daily communication in Japanese Language with relating departments in local Company, HQ and other overseas offices.

Job requirements

• ž Bachelor's Degree in marketing related fields
• ž Business level Japanese Language, JLPT N1 is preferred for reporting and communicating with HQ
• ž Minimum 10 years’ of working experience for shipping industries in a public listed company
• ž Skills and experience of negotiation with shipping companies, owners, financiers, brokers
• ž Knowledge and skills in team management
• ž Knowledge and experience with finance and accounting.

• -Operate a cargo container transporting machinery called “Prime Mover”
• -Perform basic equipment checks i.e. scratches or dents on vehicle / container
• -Able to understand basic English as briefings and communications with terminal are conducted in English
• -Able to understand simple / basic computer knowledge i.e. interact with touch screen computer installed within the Prime Mover
• -Ability to follow location instruction issued by Controllers
• -Attention to details, especially when matching container serial number
• -Practice safe driving

Responsibilities

• Responsible for creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured inspection plans and collaborate with cross functions to improve tests and inspections
• Responsible for estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating customers’ escalations and feedback as well as investigating the causes of non-conformances and to implement solutions
• Responsible for initiating corrective actions for procedural, product or process deficiencies and handling of NCR/MRB/DMRB disposition, working with internal teams and Operations to look into Root Cause and Corrective actions (RCCA)

Requirements
