Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science/Chemistry/Environmental Engineering/Biology or related fields
• Experience in polymers, biomaterials research and material characterization required (e.g. Mechanical strength, FTIR, SEM, degradability, permeability, water contact, etc)
• Experience in environmental science and engineering will be a bonus
• Good communication and writing skills
• Good coordination/project management skills
• Able to plan and execute experiments with minimal supervision
• Able to take initiative to improve processes and troubleshoot problems
• Able to organize well and adhere to deadlines

NTU’s philosophy programme offers a Major and Minor in Philosophy. It is a postgraduate degree conferring programme, with both MA and PhD students. It has particular strengths in ethics, Chinese philosophy, and philosophy of science. We welcome applicants who are working in the programme’s strengths. In addition, we hope to develop new research strengths. Desired Profile

• The candidate should be a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology
• Preferably with min.5 years experience in Design office / Shipyard.
• The candidate should be conversant with Ship Classification Rules and IMO Rules.
• Skills in ACAD, Naval Architecture Calculation Software is a must

· Able to independently do calculations, develop ship piping system Engine Room Layouts, HVAC, Shafting, etc

· Able to liase with Class, Owner’s Yard & Clients

· Should have adequate knowledge of pipe routings,
