The successful candidate will work with Dr Gloryn Chia on developing cancer vaccines.

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow with expertise in immunology. Our team aims to leverage on stem cell biology (Sagi, Chia et al., Nature 2016; Chia et al., Nature Cell Biology 2019; Chia et al., Nature Cell Biology 2017) and cell engineering to develop alternative immunotherapeutic strategies to target refractory cancer types. The candidate will work closely with clinicians to establish empirical platforms for identifying and validating cancer vaccine candidates, and to translate research findings into clinical practice. Also, the candidate will be involved in the assessment and development of vaccines against novel antigens for the treatment of cancer and other human diseases. The Mechanobiology Institute, Singapore, is a multidisciplinary institute committed to developing new paradigms for biomedical research by focusing on the quantitative analysis of dynamic functional processes. Through quantitative biophysical approaches, we address major problems in biomedical sciences, including pathogenesis (from bacterial to cancer), tissue regeneration, and function.

Asst. Prof. Chan seeks a highly motivated individual to join his laboratory on Mammalian Development and Tissue Hydraulics as a postdoctoral fellow at the Mechanobiology Institute in the National University of Singapore. This position is offered under a highly interdisciplinary project that aims to understand macrophage-environment mechanochemical crosstalk during ovarian ageing.

Project Scope

The candidate will investigate the mechanobiological principles by which cell mechanics, ECM remodelling and inflammation drive fibrosis during ovarian ageing. The selected candidate will combine an ex vivo approach with advanced imaging, omics and biophysics to explore how tissue-resident macrophages respond to age-associated changes in matrix stiffness and composition, and how this in turn drives macrophage-mediated fibrosis. Job Purpose:

Responsible for planning, developing, delivering and evaluating appropriate individualized educational services, learning programmes and instructions for special needs students in both self-contained and integrated settings in consultation with other school personnel.

Job Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Admin and Finance Executive supports the overall operations of Dayspring Residential Treatment Centre (DRTC) by providing administrative assistance and effective financial system. By collaborating with the different DRTC Departments and HCSA Corporate Department, she ensures smooth day-to-day operation of DRTC.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Administration

1. Word processing, minute taking, photocopying, scanning, document posting, etc

2. Lead office supply management and inventory controls

3. Maintain proper records and filing of documents for audit by MSF and external auditor

4. Support and provide administrative assistance to the different DRTC Department

5. Other ad hoc admin duties assigned from time to time

Finance

1. Process petty cash claims ensuring that payments are timely and accurately reimbursed

2. Settle DRTC bills, invoices, etc

3. Banking in of cash receipts/Encashing of DRTC cash float cheque

4. Maintain proper accounting records for audit purpose

5. Attend to external auditors during statutory audit
